2.

I made this the first time exactly like she made it only adding vanilla.
***NOW I made it for the 2nd time and this is what I did differently which I feel Extremely made this a Much Richer tasting dessert!
Where you add the Milk at the Pudding part I did use 2 Cups of Evaporated Milk & 2 Cups Whole Milk which equals 1 liter, and 1 tsp of pure Vanilla extract.
Then for the Carmelized Topping! I used 1 Cup of Evaporated Milk along with the 1 Tbs of cornstarch and also 1 tsp. Of Vanilla. Also where it states 1/2 Cup of Sugar I used Brown Sugar instead of the white and this gives it that Much More Carmel Rich Taste!
I hope you try these differences and see what your Tastebuds Think and maybe come up with some of your own Changes. This makes cooking together so Much Fun.
I Thank the Original Chef for such A Great Recipe!😇🌹❤
Hey
WOW while watching the video, I also thought of using vanilla extract.
Thank you....
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for that because I also made it and my kids really didn't like it, they thought it was kind of bland
can egg be added?
I would a0dd a little vanilla. It makes a big difference!
Orange or lemon zest would be amazing in there too.
RUM
Yes😎
I agree.... vanilla will round it off perfectly!
Vanilla & Cinnamon, wow generic Flan. Can't wait to try it.
Reminds me of a combination of latin american desserts flan and tembleque ( coconut milk custard)
add a lemon peal and a cinnamon stick to the milk when it's heating to get more flavour
Why don't you quit bragging, know it all
@@professionaltrollgirl2682 💀💀💀💀
Me who’s still waiting for my dad to get back with the milk 🤨
in Normal language It's called custard without any essence
😃😃😃😃😃
Custard no eggs
Ceramel pudding
I just made it.. that was so easy and so delicious my 4 kids fell in love with it! Thank you so much for sharing
It makes me think of a custard coconut pie. My momma use to make but you baked it .. but no crust
I wish I was one of your kids!
Did you fresh or evaporated milk?
Wow that’s amazing 😍Did you use normal milk or evaporated milk ?

As a 50 year old woman; my grandmother made this all the time when I was younger OMG it is so good the next day if survive that long🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
This is another version of Maja Blanca, only it has no corn kernels.

This is caramel pudding I make this with agar agar too 😊😊 and vanilla ❤️❤️
I will try this, it reminds me a little bit of flan❤️(And I love flan!)
I am sure your desert is delicious, can not wait to try!
Thank you!!!!!
I thought flan too.
Easier than flan
Looks like flan too
That's exactly what I was thinkinh
Those looks like crème brulee , yummy 😋
Creme Brule is a very rich dessert and very very fattening.
This should NOT be eaten every day.
YOU CAN CALL THIS WHAT EVER YOU WISH, THIS IS CALL HAUPIA WITH A CARAMEL SAUCE... ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE MILK, HAUPIA USES COCNUT MILK
It looks like what my mother made when I was a kid. It was called Junket.
Blancmange in my neck of the world.
Junket is made with rennet not cornflour.
@@alisonmoffitt1051 I said it “reminds me of”.
@@susannahhoffs860 I was thinking the same thing about Junket.
@@susannahhoffs860 no worries. When you say 'it looks like...' I just took that literally.
I’m making this right now and so far the cream is nice and chilled in the fridge ! Doing the caramel now x

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what it will taste like. I'm definitely going to make this. Looks yummy
Add vanilla essence
I tried this last night. For the caramel, since I ran out of milk I substituted nestle cream minus the conrstarch. It turned out great! Gone in less than 10 mins. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe. 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for this recipe Sis. I already tried it.. So yummy and easy to make❤
Super! Amazing! I'll do this delicious easy recipe soon myself 💜 btw, great choice of background music, so soothing 👍

Vanilla pudding with a carmelized topping
This looks Amazing ...I’m trying this this afternoon. Thank you for sharing....❤️❤️
I am a disaster in leche flan, might as well, try this one,tnx for sharing
Me too tried leche flan twice and its useless. Lol🤣 will surely try this. 😊
I would probably try a cap full of vanilla extract too.
Have been looking for this recipe for 40years. Ate this desert as a kid in a hotel. Didn't know the name. 40 years later, didn't know what to search with on Google. Stumbled on some random movie on UA-cam. One character was eating this and mentioned the name.
Boom! Finally I can search and found this.
Ans so : what is the name please ?
@@princesse523 creme caramel
My Granny made this custard for me! It was my favorite.. she put eggs in it though..

Hi! CHEFE PAUL MIAMI AND TEXAS AND COSTA RICA. I LOVE YOUR RECIPES VERY NICE AND EASY, 😋 😍 THANK YOU
You could add to this in so many ways like vanilla or a lemon version with a raspberry compot if you wanted a change I think I'm going to go give it a go thanks for the upload!
Thank you! I'm all about simple recipes that make me look like I have real skills!
like a maja blanca

ang sarap naman yan.
Aloha, look like custard only with out the eggs, looks delicious, I'm going to try make it, Thank You. Foxy 👩🤙🏼🤙🏼👋🍮
Aloha, I'm trying to make it Right now. It's 3:PM in Hawaii now, so my son & I will taste it tonight for dessert. If you have a toaster oven can you post some small portions recipes for toaster oven please. Thank You, Foxy 🙋♀️🌺🤙🏼🤙🏼Aloha.
Looks delicious I think I will add some vanilla paste to the custard to be sure it has that vanilla cream flavor, 😋
Thank you for sharing!
Vanilla paste ...where do you get that?
@@debbiestorm3751 You can find vanilla paste in the baking section of most grocers, I use it instead of vanilla extract because it's got the vanilla beans and really makes everything taste amazing, like you used a fresh vanilla bean. But you can also use vanilla extract, but the paste makes your baked goods richer.
Ki!m thompson: thank you ...very informative
Ohhhh, I remember the days when I could eat good ole Egg Custard ! It was always sooooo good ! Thanks for bringing back a warm,
fuzzy memory for me. However, diabetes caught up with me, so…….no more Egg Custard !
I agree I would add vanilla and also two egg yolks it will give it a richer and creamier flavor and texture plus taste. But with the TOPPING added this looks delicious and is on my toes list for tomorrow's baking.🤗
You're the best! Keep your lovely recipes coming! Looking forward to more food ideas!
Thank you for sharing this recipe!! Looks Num num!
maja blanca din ito, gata lang ng niyog ang wala, but the toppings seems different and new
I'ts looks similar to Turkish Kazandibi.
I wanna try making that when I have the budget for it
? Like, milk and sugar should be essentials always, I could understand corn starch but that's like usually $5 or less for a small box
@@austinsontv what a horror
@@HauntedCJ I'm trying to give someone money for food ingredients..... I'm sorry.
@@austinsontv well it's a tone deaf comment dude
3⁄4 cup of corn starch? Is that correct? I don't think I've ever used more than a tablespoon and any recipe. And even that was a lot IMHO
I suppose that spoonfuls are used to thicken stews or gravies. But this larger amount may be necessary since this is like a pudding, so it must be much thicker. Just sharing my thoughts...
Easy, even I did it. Didn’t look like yours but was tasty
This is intriguing. I love that it has no eggs. I will definitely make this one, and veganize it!
Do you think using almond or coconut milk would work as well? I’d like to see a vegan version, too.
@@sunnyme2212 I tried it, used coconut milk (chilled/carton variety) Personally, I did not like it at all. I might try it again using soy milk.

@@sheiladipasupil3161 it was really good. it's like a milky pudding with caramel on it. i think I'd lessen the amount of cornstarch next time since mine is kinda thicker than on the video. I also suggest not to add too much of the caramel sauce on top since it makes the dessert too sweet. overall, i enjoyed it very much.

That is known as Blanc Mange (white pudding) where I live in Canada.
Also from Canada we had eggs and pure vanilla extract.

This looks amazing. Love it. However, adding vanilla and a Cinnamon stick could add extra flavor.
