Dude this was genius! My warranty expired and I was so mad that after 3 months the same thing was happening. I was looking at new ice machines today to buy a new one next week and I came across this video. Tried it, works perfectly fine! Thank you so much for uploading this
Omfg bro I was doing everything to cleaning it and taking it apart and as soon as this video ended, I cut out the top part of Tupperware and it fixed it immediately. Thanks my man 🙏
One of my group home staff was able to help me figure out the icemaker and it is now functioning so far at least it’s running so now I’m checking to make sure it’s making ice.
I’ve had mine sitting to throw out for months and attempted to fix it before I gave up on it, are you serious this is exaclty what I needed Thankyou so much
I am trying to remove the cover of my kooler things ice maker and I see you did it. I was wondering if you could explain to me how that is done, please and thank you
Hello. I don't remember how, other than starting with the visible screws near the bottom and eventually you remove enough for the top to come lose. But I don't remember it to clean it. I clean the easy to reach parts with warm water and a rag then put in some fresh warm water and white vinegar in it and let it run over and over. About 2 parts water to 2 part vinegar. Then put fresh water in and let it run. Once done even the hard to reach parts look very clean. I hope that helps. There are some good videos out there showing ways to clean them.
Good question! After the 3 months is was not a quick and easy return. Didn't keep box that long, after 90 days the return policy change, especially for items not working, etc. I'm glad I didn't have to. It's still working great today, years later.
I just got one and it’s not making ice at all. When it turns (ice meant to be dumped into basket) the water just pours back into the tank. And idea how to resolve it?
Sorry it didn't work. You might try "lightly" pulling the try toward you when you turn it on. If it is able to get past the start point and raise up the water might start. If it does then try a different type of plastic or a different thickness of plastic to see if it will work without you pulling on it. Just a thought of something more to try. Good luck.
Hello again. I didn't reopen it but after looking at it again I'm pretty sure you remove the white sides by unscrewing them from the bottom. That should give you access to the screws to the top. Not sure, but I think that is how it works.

i was cleaning the machine and moved it to one side now the flap doesn’t want to work
I see the you slide the top part of the ice maker off to clean like how you do that ? Do all the ice makers do that ?
No, I had to remove some screws to get the top off.
It was 3 months old- why didn’t you just return it?

❤❤❤
How on earth do you get the little tray upright without it being on so to clean it?
Not sure, but maybe try unplugging it when it is at the best position to clean it.
For anyone else - if you take off the motor (right hand side on mine - 2 screws) the little tray is free to move around.

I am trying to remove the top cover as you did in this video. Could you please make a video showing how to remove that top cover?
Hello. I don't remember how and am not home to see if I remember. I'll try t check sometime soon.

@@rickanderson704 Thank you for responding. I’ll give that a shot.
What happened to the lunch meat?
It made a great sandwich! ;)
@@rickanderson704 lol
i just bought it and it's not working after one day does anyone perhaps had the same issue?
No, if it is new, this fix probably will not fix it. If you bought it used, it is probably worth a try.
DON'T buy these things folks they go bad fast.
