The next video in Pramek's UOS (Universal Operating System), 'The Screw' covers the simple machines of mechanical efficiency. This is a deep dive from the material covered in the 'The Wedge', where discussed the inclined plane, the wedge, and the screw in brief. With this hour plus video, we continue our quest for combative knowledge and mechanical theory.
    Topics include:
    Screw theory
    Defense against grabs
    Defense against strikes
    Defense against chokes
    Defense against shoves
    Defense against kicks
Indepth discussion of using the arm and leg as screws to defense and attack
Indepth discussion of weapons disarms never explained in English language -- if you have seen Russian weapons disarms, you will now learn the actual theories behind them, adapted by Pramek to our stance and the AR/M4.

I always like to compare my martial arts effectiveness to my skill with a guitar. I've been playing for 15 years and music is so second nature to me that I can easily play wild solos behind my back in the heat of a musical moment with a full band in front of hundreds of people (I've don't that before). Only because I've practiced and practiced it. Same with martial arts. These body mechanics will come to mind with ease even in a stressful situation if you practice it properly and a lot. Also the marine corps really helped train us under high stress situations. All applies to tactically and effectively operating our rifle under fire. Served from 2010 to 2014.

This method looks interesting but at first glance seems to rely on fine motor skills. Difficult to call upon in stressful situations.... in my experience.

Mallick - thank you. The use of fine motor skills can be subjective - helicopter pilots use fine motor skills under stress all of the time. Many times working through things like this help refine what one will use in a stressful situation. Exploration is an important part of martial art and combatives. If you watch the full video you will see we discuss exploratory examples of the screw, and combative examples of the screw. Thanks for viewing!
