Man, i love your content. So straight forward, to the point, and real life content that matters to those of us that make a career change into healthcare later in life.
thank you for your comments and tuning in! i really appreciate everyone that even watches. i never thought of the channel as a public spot tbh. it was always meant to be my private musings/ventings 😅 i'm so glad whenever i hear people appreciate my pov or just want to hear it! hope you you make a change that you want and that can help you.
I’m just stepping my foot into healthcare after going to culinary school and working in that for almost ten years. It’s a brave new world. Not a pretty one 😂 My sister is an OT, but that’s nothing like what y’all have to deal with. I’m going to go for RN eventually for sure. I’m smarter than I’ve ever applied myself to 😂 If I make that I’m going to keep on going in my education. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. Hopefully not too long away. Your videos are great. I know it’s currently above my pay grade, but any info you’ve got I’ll take. I’d rather be over prepared than underprepared. Be well!
actually, i just stepped into it. the unit i was hired at as a NA turned out to be the unit i stayed with after becoming an RN and after 1st covid subsided. i thought i'd be in peds or ED. my (then) mgr even reminded me of my initial preference when i requested to stay on f/t. but i replied that after floating around the hospital i preferred staying with family than dealing with "attitudes"😝 i think (for older RN's) it's more important to be comfortable than most other factors that influence the younger RN's. i.e. we're too old for this sh*t! 😂
