Im just starting my second semester of nursing school with little experience in the medical field and your stories truly touched me its so different reading a book or watching a video regarding intubation and being there through it happening. I want to work in the ICU and these stories got me really excited. Thank you ♥️

Whether it's necessary or not if they do not want the breathing tube stop forcing it
I can't believe that you would tie somebody down and force them to have a tube
If they're coherent and understand the risks do not force it

I did my first intubation today - well i was airway nurse. Now im reflecting. You made giggle about the chest compressions and patient tubed “daeeeeenm that was gangster” mate i had a gangster day. Not the smoothest - but ill only get better.

Unfortunately these things happen and the only thing that we can do is be as ready and prepared as we can be in order to make the process as smooth and seamless as possible.
