Im just starting my second semester of nursing school with little experience in the medical field and your stories truly touched me its so different reading a book or watching a video regarding intubation and being there through it happening. I want to work in the ICU and these stories got me really excited. Thank you ♥️
Whether it's necessary or not if they do not want the breathing tube stop forcing it I can't believe that you would tie somebody down and force them to have a tube If they're coherent and understand the risks do not force it
I did my first intubation today - well i was airway nurse. Now im reflecting. You made giggle about the chest compressions and patient tubed “daeeeeenm that was gangster” mate i had a gangster day. Not the smoothest - but ill only get better.
you have the most calming relaxing voice ever, you every think of doing a relaxation/sleep video/cd? I have stress issues and anxiety attacks alot and your voice is just so calming... if not you should think about it, I for one would buy it...
Your story about a not prepped room. Too real. Thank you for sharing something that didn't go well so it could be education moment for others. Too often we don't talk about the "oh shit" moments
Same situation happened to me man with the bulb not working! Traumatic for the patient and us med staffs! Anyway, great vid man keep it up! Definitely subscribing!
one when am working in icu my patent are very very nagging all time of my shift and after he eat him breakfast suddnly sleep for 3 hr and the incharge told me to transfer pt to floor and when i wek up him he dos not respond and intubation was processed... :( sad situation
Unfortunately these things happen and the only thing that we can do is be as ready and prepared as we can be in order to make the process as smooth and seamless as possible.
Please come back and continue to educate!! You are very inspiring!
Thanks intubated my first covid patient, I hope it is the last. Saving lives.
