There was similar speculation about Pakistani bowlers in 90s. But Wasim and Waqar were able to swing irrespective of conditions and are all time greats.

England, Australia were in denial when Wasim/Waqar/Shoaib used to reverse swing in 90's and 2000's. They could not call it tech ball as no such thing existed, so they resorted to calling them cheaters. Now a days we know them as great bowlers who knew how to swing and reverse swing ball. Denial is natural reaction when you can't accept greatness. Nobody has won the world cup with tricks so far and probably never will.

Us 90s Indian kids were in awe of Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib and the rest. They were the benchmarks we were trying to emulate. Wasim is a once in a century cricketer and we’ll probably never see the likes of him again, even though Bumrah, Shami and Siraj are doing a great job and setting new standards. I hope Pakistani kids will take inspiration from them and not take comfort in baseless conspiracy theories.
