Irrespective of everything, It is beautiful how Cricket unites India and Pakistan. I see so many Indians literally expressing their love for Wasim Akram as if he is an Indian Player. Shahid Afridi is criminally underrated as he’s clearly one of the best ODI players ever. His only criticism is the fact that he had a low batting average, but that wouldn’t be a problem in this side. Excellent bowler in all countries and conditions and a great fielder aswell. His 6 record in ODIs will never be broken and for that ability alone he deserves to be in the side.

Irrespective of everything, It is beautiful how Cricket unites India and Pakistan. I see so many Indians literally expressing their love for Wasim Akram as if he is an Indian Player. Similarly, so many Pakistanis having Sachin and Virat as their favorite player shows how Cricket knows no Boundaries. I just hope and wish India and Pakistan would start playing each other in their home grounds soon and bring back the memories of the 80s and 90s.

Shahid Afridi is criminally underrated as he’s clearly one of the best ODI players ever. His only criticism is the fact that he had a low batting average, but that wouldn’t be a problem in this side. Excellent bowler in all countries and conditions and a great fielder aswell. His 6 record in ODIs will never be broken and for that ability alone he deserves to be in the side.

Did you ever watch Miandad play? He had to restrain himself from being an explosive ODI batsman and yet he averaged 42 back in the 90's and for a good part of that era , his strike rate was above 70, second only to Viv.
