I really liked seeing them side by side. It was really funny when Jasmine said "She's probably screaming" and it cut to Katie screaming.
Lol yess made me laugh too 😂
That edit was worthy on the level of Taskmaster editing, absolutely brilliant!
Mimo is back, all is well again. Also I love how Katie was panicking when the hotplate was smoking up and then there's mimo and Kelly calmly taking control.
"set aside" translates to "leave me alone" honestly I get the energy
This really shows how talented, or maybe just experienced, Jasmine is at decoded crazy translated recipes. Also Jasmine speaks in such a polite way. I really admire that.

As a Spanish, and a human being that eats, I felt bad seeing how they mixed raw potatoes with eggs. Mind-blowing 🤯
Not that bad :) In Switzerland, Austria and Germany here we have quite a few dishes where u combine raw potatoes with raw eggs as ingredients. But then u also fry/bake or cook the dish for a longer time.

As a Spanish this one was SO FUN to watch!!! However, tortilla is not usually a breakfast hhahaa (more for dinner/lunch or as a tapa)
As soon as I saw Spanish breakfast i know it was gonna be tortilla. So many Americans think that's a breakfast food just because it has eggs! (I'm an American living in Spain for the past 15 years)

Okay, I don't think anyone is going to point this out but major props to Kelly for pronouncing "Khmer" the correct way at 0:43! Honestly was not expecting that-it actually caught me off guard as most people get it wrong-but as a Khmer American/Canadian it was really wonderful to hear. Thanks, Kelly!!!!

I loved this as a season finale. The recipe is really simple in ingredients but with a complicated technique at the same time.

Yessss! Finally a Spanish dish! So yummy, yet so simple (when you have the normal recipe, that is). Although it is much more frequently eaten for dinner, in a sandwich, or as a tapa than it is for breakfast (only if it is left over from last night, lol). I would have liked to see them try a more complex, less internationally known one, but at least it's something! HOWEVER, did they just put the UNCOOKED POTATOES in the eggs? 😰😰😰😰 They must have been still raw when they took the dish out of the pan, yikes! 😬😬😬😬
Most non-spanish people i know don't know that potatoes have to be well fried :(

I love this series and Katie's hysterical sort of nervous like she's about to have a breakdown laugh and the tomato jam is amazing.
I’m surprised they can’t figure out what they’re cooking? I figured out the vegan drumsticks, spanakopita, and this by step 3. I guess that’s the luxury of watching from home.

I tried translating a recipe too.
A few sentences I got:
Grill with fan
I miss pumpkins (there were no pumpkins in the recipe)
I will not be dissapointed
I really hope there's not a super long wait for season 2, also MORE HEAD TO HEAD, this episode was exceptionally good.
It's amazing how culture impacts how we feel about cooking techniques and recipes. In the end Katie says "this was the hardest recipe we've ever had", and I'm like "that's a tortilla, it shouldn't even need that many steps to explain it, and it's so easy to make"
Love this show! Wish they would do more savory vs sweet, so this is perfect!

I knew from the title what they were going to make. And I thought they will guess it when they reached at eggs. But turns they don’t even know what this dish is. Pretty strange.
P.S I am Asian.
Maybe they never hear of this dish? There are so many dishes around the world, using "two people who cook for a living" as an argument doesn't make sense.
@@zawadsadaf9194 that's what i'm saying though?? the whole problem is that they've never heard of one of the most popular spanish dishes, suggesting that either a) these videos are scripted or b) these chefs have too little experience with international cuisine
