As soon as I saw Spanish breakfast i know it was gonna be tortilla. So many Americans think that's a breakfast food just because it has eggs! (I'm an American living in Spain for the past 15 years)
Not that bad :) In Switzerland, Austria and Germany here we have quite a few dishes where u combine raw potatoes with raw eggs as ingredients. But then u also fry/bake or cook the dish for a longer time.
Okay, I don't think anyone is going to point this out but major props to Kelly for pronouncing "Khmer" the correct way at 0:43! Honestly was not expecting that-it actually caught me off guard as most people get it wrong-but as a Khmer American/Canadian it was really wonderful to hear. Thanks, Kelly!!!!

Although it is much more frequently eaten for dinner, in a sandwich, or as a tapa than it is for breakfast (only if it is left over from last night, lol). I would have liked to see them try a more complex, less internationally known one, but at least it's something! HOWEVER, did they just put the UNCOOKED POTATOES in the eggs? 😰😰😰😰 They must have been still raw when they took the dish out of the pan, yikes! 😬😬😬😬

It's amazing how culture impacts how we feel about cooking techniques and recipes. In the end Katie says "this was the hardest recipe we've ever had", and I'm like "that's a tortilla, it shouldn't even need that many steps to explain it, and it's so easy to make"

That was so funny!!! But... It's true tortilla is served on bread buns for breakfast on some places, but it's not a breakfast!! And please, next time fry the potatoes on soft OLIVE oil until soft and lightly golden, let it rest some minutes and then mix it with the eggs and cook it. Seriously, I almost had a heart attack when Jasmine said peanut oil 😂😂😂

Loved the season! Just a suggestion for the next season, maybe you can change the 3 hints to 3 different kind of lifelines. So something like - This or That, Reveal the real ingredient/equipment, Hint.
I really liked seeing them side by side. It was really funny when Jasmine said "She's probably screaming" and it cut to Katie screaming.

I loved this as a season finale. The recipe is really simple in ingredients but with a complicated technique at the same time.
