  • Dr Jordan Peterson and his daughter Mikhaila have sat down with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan for a wide-ranging and at times emotional interview discussing family life, overcoming tribulations, and what the duo admire about each other.
The discussion with Piers Morgan was the first major interview Dr Peterson and his daughter have undertaken together.
The pair also reflected on their respective health issues over the years and discussed their mindsets in overcoming the hurdles they faced.
The interview also took an emotional turn when Dr Peterson reflected on what it was that he loved about his daughter.
After pausing for a moment, Dr Peterson who was moved to tears, replied by saying, “she’s pretty damn funny”.
“She’s tough man, don’t mess with her,” Dr Peterson continued.
“She’ll bite you, and you’ll remember it … so she’s a formidable person, like my wife, like my son.
“They’re fun to be around, don’t mess with them.
“And that’s a pretty good combination.”

Jordan & Mikhaila are two extrodinary Canadians. Both have faced challenging medical problems and managed to come out on top. So much suffering endured by the whole family but the sheer strength and endurance of these two is a marvelous example of how to live life regardless of the many troubles they had to face. We love you!

Jordan Peterson is only controversial to those who do not like the truth being spoken. He is a man of Integrity who truly cares about humanity.Speaking the truth is seen as dangerous by those who wants to keep us dumbed down and ignorant of how the world is being run and by whom.

I agree with a lot of what JRP says. But not what he does. I don’t agree that he takes responsibility for his own actions regarding his chemical dependency and then treatment in Russia. If you have to face your own problems, don’t think what he did would work.
Why? Why do I say this?
Let me ask you - can you go to Russia for months of treatment if you become dependent on Valium? How much can you spend dealing with such an issue?

While I don’t agree 100% with Jordan’s beliefs, I have learned so much from him. His views on family and what success means resonates with me deeply. I admire him and Mikhalia SO much. They are wonderful role models for those of us living in difficult and sometimes confusing times. Thank you for a fantastic interview!

I have a chronic pain issue and have been guilty of feeling sorry for myself, particularly in the beginning stages. I felt ripped off and felt that it was unfair and hearing what Jordan had said to his daughter makes so much sense and actually even gave me a wake up call, so thanks for that.

I’m worried about Mr Peterson. The reason why he’s so influential and so well-liked is because he is a good soul. It all comes from his heart. It seems he has a wonderful moral stance on everything. The problem with being a good guy is he is at a higher risk of having a nervous breakdown - because he cares. It must be awful being compared to Hitler and people actually believe it.

I’m so grateful for stumbling on this! I’m 65, and was diagnosed with RA when my boys were little. It incapacitated me. I was angry, depressed, in excruciating pain, everyday. Medications which were only temporary fixes, as they’d stop working after time. I prayed frequently, but I wasn’t connecting with God. I never repented, never knew I needed to until my 39 year young son, made me aware of that. I’ll be forever grateful for his wisdom. Thank you both…my family is broken, and this is a refreshing hope, that my 39 & 37 aged sons, will be accepted by their dad, my husband of 40 years. Thank you. Thank you and God bless you and your family! 🙏🏼 peace, love and His grace be with you.

Praise God that he is staying true to himself and not letting the fame break his character. I would recommend that all young men and even women listen to some of his life lessons and lectures. Truly informative and very helpful to those who are struggling with guidance, understanding, and responsibility in growing up in this society.

What his daughter said about others not being able to understand her dad because of their arrogance reminded me of this quote of Jordan Peterson's:
"Humility: It is better to presume ignorance and invite learning than to assume sufficient knowledge and risk the consequent blindness. It is much better to make friends with what you do not know than with what you do know, as there is an infinite supply of the former but a finite stock of the latter. When you are tightly boxed in or cornered-all too often by your own stubborn and fixed adherence to some unconsciously worshipped assumptions-all there is to help you is what you have not yet learned."

💯 I can’t imagine carrying all of us on your shoulders Mr. Peterson. I found you just recently unfortunately, but fortunately I have found you now, at the hardest time of my life. You’ve been recorded teaching for so many years, I haven’t ever even said anything in front of 5 ppl that was very profound. Millions of ppl are in awe of you. I wish I’d “known” about you 20 years ago when my chronic pain started. I can’t imagine seeing your daughter in so much pain. I never watched UA-cam and now through my loneliness and depression I listen to your videos and you teach me about life. That’s what I have to do with my miserable life, pick up my cross and carry up the hill. Don’t took at my anger, let it propel you forward. I had so many things in my life happen that it broke me finally. Well, didn’t break me, it tried. People want to pick at you because you are a “formidable force.” I hear myself say something I’ve heard you say 1 time. I’ve never been as interested or influenced by anyone as wise and well spoken. Thank you for sharing your time (and like art, when you buy a piece of art you aren’t just paying the cost of the supplies and paying for the artists time but you’re paying for the hundreds and thousands of hours of them honing their craft) and knowledge with with the world, you’re changing it for the better. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and care with me. You’ve literally helped me hold on. I’m on your side. ❤

Seriously, why all these comments and questions about him becoming emotional and then they have to defend it? He's a human being, of course he becomes emotional when he talks about extremely emotional stuff like how people show him much love and so on. If he was a woman who cried nobody would bat an eye.

It’s ridiculous. Feminists going on about toxic masculinity and men not showing their emotions or being too “weak” or emotionally stunted to cry, and here you have Peterson who shows these emotions when talking about very difficult and profound things and they ridicule him for it. Make it make sense.

@@marinazolotic4347 Feminists hate themselves, but they just deflect this hate onto Men.

Cool suit 😎... if I can get to see Jordan live, I would go out and buy a really cool suit just for that occasion. That how much I respect that man.
    Great interview Piers.

What a beautiful father/daughter duo. I've been really into reading body language, something i've been fascinated about since I was a kid and the way Jordon and Mikhaila behave with so much utmost respect, it's simply lovely! They have such a classically delicate way of moving towards each other to show their attention to each other. I'm not an expert in reading body language, I have just always liked looking at peoples expressions when they speak to each other and the way they move, and these two move with grace!!

I like these 3 people. It is a great interview. I enjoyed it tremendously. I am looking forward to the day Dr. Peterson will fully and publicly profess his faith in God.

I'm pretty sure I have heard him. He has done a lot of biblical lectures lately and has talked about his coming to faith. I don't know about his intimate walk with Jesus's though.

I feel like dr. Jordan Takes so much of his time. Listening to other peoples life problems and trying to help them. He has neglected the most important person his self,,, doc listen if you don’t get yourself better. We won’t have you and neither will your loved ones , another thing is. When you lay your head on that pillow. Tell god. Lord my problems are so huge I can’t do this alone I need you to take my life problems and help me solve these,, your a very passionate. Kind man I don’t know you but I do love you
