I very much admire how you, Heather and Steve have forged a new family, despite each other’s existence being a total surprise. I’m glad you all had a good time.😊❤😊
It's always great to see Steve. He's so cute, and it's such a great reminder of your dad. I wish your sister wanted to be on camera more, too; but it's wonderful to see you guys getting together. Not to mention how precious her grands are.
I'm so glad that you got to spend some activity with your brother. It looks like collecting runs in the family. That was a very pretty place you visited
Brilliant video. I found my long lost brother and sister 2 years ago and have an loads of new nephews, nieces etc and have just became a great aunt. Its Brilliant
Beautiful views at this point. Really exciting to walk around. A nice antique shop. It’s really so nice to spend time with siblings and create memories of times spent together. Out of eight of us, only four of us are still here. Most precious times are spent with siblings as well as your immediate family. Enjoy your time in Colorado, Alex.❤️👍
Alexander…. Thank you for a great video. I am mostly housebound, I love every one of your videos. This one feels I was along with you. Bless you & Melissa and your wonderful children. 🙏🏻
I love it when you do this…….spent half my life haunting Thrift, Vintage shops. Now I can do it vicariously through you. Look forward to more. And house lots. 😊❤
That was fun! It's great to see you spending time with fairly new found family. 💞 It's awesome to see you have similar likes. Antiquing for example. 🧐👍
Love seeing you spend time with your siblings. You can tell Heather is there even before you see her, with her lovely giggle, lol. My dad has a few chauffeur licenses in his collection, which are small badge pins.😢
His Alex, what a beautiful place you were blessed to go visit. I could see the resemblance between you and Steve. Thanks for sharing another vacation vlog video with us. God bless & safe travels. Until next time.🙏🤗💞
I love how Steve has the collecting bug too! It's nice to have something to bond over! I have 2 half siblings, the youngest I wasn't living at home when she was born- I was 16 but not at home. I did visit with her over the years, but we became close as adults and talk every day now. Though not raised together we have so much in common and have a great bond!
Today I heard an interesting anecdote about Crosby, Stills, and Nash...and their first album cover showing them sitting on a couch in front of an old house. The photo was one of the photographer's first album covers, and when it was chosen they noticed that the guys were sitting on the couch in reverse order of the band's name: Nash, Stills, and Crosby. The photographer said, "No problem, we'll just go back and retake the photo with the guys sitting in the correct order. They went back, and the house was GONE. It was a parking lot. The image was chosen for the album cover, anyway, the band didn't change its name to match the photo, and the photographer went on to create dozens and dozens of album covers for performers famous and not famous. 🙂
Alex my darling love. It’s so nice to see you with family. Your brother Steve and sister are both doing good. I love watching your videos. Alex thank you so much for bringing us with you. Until next time. Take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🥤🥤🥤🥤🙏👍😇🌹🇺🇸🌈❤️🕊🌞
I visited Garden of the Gods with my family when I was about 7 or 8. Always loved Colorado. Good mix of merchandise in that shop. The hat,wig and glasses on that mannequin would make a good Halloween costume for Melissa. Keep on hunting and enjoy a great family visit.
We called the fringe on our leather jackets drippers . As we rode in the rain they would sling the water away from the jacket and help keep us dryer . I gave mine to my son a few years ago .
Oh dear...I wish I'd known your brother collected pipe wrenches! I just gave away 6 of them, all from the like the 40-50s and varying sizes. My friend passed and had been a handyman for years. I had tons of his tools.
Wow! I have that Rick Wakeman album (not my favorite) and I have a couple of fringe jackets from the 1970s. A friend got me one a few years ago because I'm STILL into fringe!
There is a huge building where I live with 4 levels of antiques and clothes that looks a lot like this place. It also has some of the nitty gritty stuff you like. Wisconsin provides!
Next time you're there, check out Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun. I really enjoyed that and got some great pictures! Cave of the Winds was pretty interesting also.
Hi Alex, Welcome back to to Colorado. I Live in Pueblo Colorado. You need to visit Florence, Colorado. Most of the town is antique shops. Great little town near Cañon City, Colorado.
Whach out for rattle snakes! One time my family drove down there and the road was so slick with rattle snakes my parents would not let us out of the car
Antique pipe wrench collection! Oh yeah, Steve is definitely your brother. There is a family resemblance, and all three of you seem to share the same wacky sense of humor. Since Heather is your half sister, her son-in-law would be your half nephew-in-law. Oh heck, they are all just family, enjoy your time together.
Retired librarian here. I'm itching to look at ALL, or maybe some, of the books as you pass by them! Because you can never have too many books. (Not true, unfortunately.)
At 5:09, the "book" is not necessarily art deco. It looks like a representation of the Eucharist. Have seen this image many many times. The circle is the Eucharist (the body of Christ) and the shape below it is the chalice of wine (the blood of Christ).
Good to see Heather and Steve. Don't you all have the same dad? Cause I noticed you said if my dad was here he would be going thru these records. Instead our dad.😊
When you pointed out the radio it reminded me to ask, a friend of mine has her father’s complete repair shop of old radio and tv repair parts. She is now ready to let it go. She has looked and looked for interested parties but no luck in our area of Minnesota. Do you have any resources you would like to share? Much appreciated. Thank you for taking me with to Denver.😁
Maybe, maybe not. The family histories are none of my business, but one can imagine that his half-siblings have fathers who they've known their entire lives and fulfilled that role for them in a million important ways. Their biological father was simply a donor, something that might be interesting to them on some genetic level, but has no real emotional value.
I bet your Dad is with you kids in spirit. Watching his kids exploring.
You always know Heather is around somewhere when she laughs. Great to see you all together again.
I very much admire how you, Heather and Steve have forged a new family, despite each other’s existence being a total surprise. I’m glad you all had a good time.😊❤😊
So nice seeing your brother, sister and their family again.Thank you for taking us along,Alex.🙏🏻🥰

Family, that is what it is all about. ❤

Family time is always a good thing...good to see everyone...🥰🥰
Fun seeing your family!
Love the leech pit Adam is so cool too! Great selection for indie bands
Steve is so cute and has that great smile that you have.
How fun! I live in Colorado Springs an know both the stores!
Your Dad must be smiling down from heaven ❤
Glad to see Alyssa, Peter, Henry and new baby. I miss seeing her videos.
Amazing how much Steve resembles his and your Dad. I still miss him. Such a sad loss.
Thanks for sharing your trip to Colorado with us. I lived in Denver for 9 yrs. ❤
Beautiful area. I would and do frequent antique shops. Glad to see you with family making memories.

Great story!
Interesting vlog Alex. I enjoy being taken out and about with you and your family whichever branch it may be. Thank you 😀
My home Colorado ❤ it never gets old the view! It’s changing in a not so great way. 😢
Your bother looks a lot like your dad. So nice to see you guys hanging out.
Welcome to Colorado! Wave as you go by Parker!
😊😊😊 Family reunion 😊 😊😊
It's so much fun to see how much you and Steve look alike.
Alex my darling love. It’s so nice to see you with family. Your brother Steve and sister are both doing good. I love watching your videos. Alex thank you so much for bringing us with you. Until next time. Take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🥤🥤🥤🥤🙏👍😇🌹🇺🇸🌈❤️🕊🌞
I've been to the Garden Of The gods in Colorado. Pretty nice!
Thanks Alex. I love thrifting. It's so cool to see items from the past. I can't get around anymore so I enjoy it thru your videos. Thank you.
Cool store. I was visiting from Iowa last year and stopped in the Pit.
I visited Garden of the Gods with my family when I was about 7 or 8. Always loved Colorado. Good mix of merchandise in that shop. The hat,wig and glasses on that mannequin would make a good Halloween costume for Melissa. Keep on hunting and enjoy a great family visit.
luv these thrifting stores vintage classic treasures
Beautiful Landscape .Awesome looking shops and the prices seem fair . Nice to see you all together .Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
The baby is SO cute❣️🥰
Yay! I’m so happy you got to see the babies!

I've been to the garden of the gods. My mom lived in Colorado for a while. Beautiful!
Oh that was really fun😊….but so short Alex:-( 🤣😘
Garden of the God's is one of my favorite places! Used to take my lunch break there multiple times a week!
Good to “see” you in my home state!
Check out the Colorado Railroad museum if you get a chance; definitely a must see for visitors from out of town!
Wow! I have that Rick Wakeman album (not my favorite) and I have a couple of fringe jackets from the 1970s. A friend got me one a few years ago because I'm STILL into fringe!
I just have to say that I miss the old CURIOUSITY INC. and all the interesting fun in the antique and curiousity shoppe.......
There is a huge building where I live with 4 levels of antiques and clothes that looks a lot like this place. It also has some of the nitty gritty stuff you like. Wisconsin provides!
Hi from Longmont Colorado! 🙏❤️🤗
Heya from Northern Colorado 😂
Awesome again 🎸🎸🎸🎸
Our nephew lives at the top of Pikes Peak
It is very beautiful there!!
Next time you're there, check out Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun. I really enjoyed that and got some great pictures! Cave of the Winds was pretty interesting also.
Love your adventure videos! I’ve only driven on the continental divide in Colorado on the way to Wyoming. Beautiful Country! Thanks for sharing, Alex😊
Astonishingly similar to all the stuff we find in our places in Massachusetts and Maine
GotG is such a fun place to visit - just beautiful!
Hi Alex, Welcome back to to Colorado. I Live in Pueblo Colorado. You need to visit Florence, Colorado. Most of the town is antique shops. Great little town near Cañon City, Colorado.
very cool. Just up the street from my house
I was at Garden of the Gods with my family when I was a kid!
Whach out for rattle snakes! One time my family drove down there and the road was so slick with rattle snakes my parents would not let us out of the car
We have cactus in Manitoba, actually. Usually 2 types. Had ball cactus on my former property here in Manitoba in the sandhills near Oak Lake.
👍👍👍
The fringes on jackets were often cut off to use as ties for temporary repairs when out in the bush or checking the fences.🖤🇨🇦

I think that fabric crimper may be used to pleat fabric for smocking. I used to have one
Crazy that I missed this. I live twenty mins from Garden of the Gods.
Welcome to Colorado Springs
I would call my half brother's son my nephew.
At 5:09, the "book" is not necessarily art deco. It looks like a representation of the Eucharist. Have seen this image many many times. The circle is the Eucharist (the body of Christ) and the shape below it is the chalice of wine (the blood of Christ).
That Espanola bottle was from Northern Ontario....the town is actually called Espanola
Was that sailer the Cracker Jack?
What Steve bought were monkey wrenches, not pipe wrenches. Those were the vice grips of yore.
Haven't heard the term monkey wrench in years. 🙂 Not since my dad passed away.
Well, he did say that the wrenches were for his pipe wrench collection, and who am I to argue?
Good to see Heather and Steve. Don't you all have the same dad? Cause I noticed you said if my dad was here he would be going thru these records. Instead our dad.😊
His half-siblings may think of their common dad as interesting genetically, but they likely have their own dads who fill the "my dad" roles.
When you pointed out the radio it reminded me to ask, a friend of mine has her father’s complete repair shop of old radio and tv repair parts. She is now ready to let it go. Espanola is a small town in Ontario, just outside of Sudbury. The milk jug was probably Canadian.
ALEXANDER,
It's good to see you with family.
How difficult is it to buy stuff here and get it back to Canada without paying fees?
Rik Spector
Hey Alex, there is an Espanola, Ontario. It's in the Sudbury area.
Man that antique store has a lot of old stuff 😂😂
The genetics so obvious between Steve and you !
🌹❤️🌹
I enjoy video like this where I can go along.I’m disabled can’t walk very well or far.
I like the Sweet William Antique Store but the basement always gives me a headache. I think it might be mold or mildew down there.
😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have 2 brothers from another mother, 2 brothers from another father and 4 brothers and me from the same mother and father. 😀
cool
😊
another oldy. man 😊
There is a town in northern Ontario called Español
Should you say "our father" instead of "my father"?
