This was our first attempt at SCPs. Over the years we got better narrators and script writers. When this video was first made, we had only 5 narrators. now we have 17. We were first introduced by one team member, who wrote the entire thing. If you see our lastest SCP video. Little Misters SCPs By Dr Wondertainment, we have much better voice actors and scripts.
*SCP-823* is based off a real theme park in Japan called Takakonuma Greenland. It was an amusement park that opened up in the mid-70s and quickly closed down. Why it shut up shop after only two seasons is unknown, but persistent
rumours claim a number of guests died on the rides, forcing the owners’ hands. In 1986, the park tried to open back up again after being closed down for about 10 years, but it didn't last long. Situated some 250km north of Tokyo, almost nothing was known about this ruined old park. Urban Explorers weren't even certain where exactly it was. However, in 2010 most of its rides were finally torn down, leaving nothing to show that Takakonuma Greenland ever existed at all.
*SCP-439* is based off the disease Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP.) It's an extremely rare connective tissue disease. The disease is caused by a mutation of the body's repair mechanism, which causes fibrous tissue (including muscle, tendon, and ligament) to be ossified spontaneously or when damaged. There is no cure or approved treatment for FOP. Attempts to surgically remove the bone result in explosive bone growth. Activities that increase the risk of falling or soft tissue injury should be avoided, as even minor trauma may provoke heterotopic bone formation.
Please be aware that this was our first attempt at SCPs. so there are problems and cringeness with SCP Audio Tapes. We had first time narrators. Latest videos of SCPs we made, are much better
SCP-049 is a unicorn in appearance, standing at 1.9 m tall and weighing 95.3 kg; however, the Foundation is currently incapable of studying its face and body more fully, as it is covered in what appears to be a garb of traditional "Plague Doctor" from 15-16 century Equestria.

The staff member claims that they and about 5 scientists work on the collection of data from the SCP. According to the information given, the SCP is an object similar to the appearance of a 15th century English sword, with strange markings carved into it, the language of the markings is said to be Latin, but so far only a fourth of the text has been translated

Ngl, this was my first exposure to SCP. Because you guys started off with that cave, it all felt so official and real, which softened middle school me up to believe the rest of the video. I spent a whole week having am existential crisis. Coming back all these years later and the video holds up.
Thank you for introducing me to what is now one of my favorite pieces of fiction, and thank you for the scares and memories that terrified me at the time but i now look back on and laugh

Yeah, it totally breaks the immersion factor. If someone were to read SCP-439 they would 100% be terrified. It'd be harder to believe SCP-4000. In my opinion, the best post-series I SCP is SCP-2774.
SCP-3426 would also be pretty good if they didn't include the "pattern screamers".
Blame the community, if you actually visit the wiki there are actually still a lot of grounded SCPs nowadays. But the community deemed it uninteresting because it's not a mind-fuckery overpowered reality-bender god and just downvoted it to the earth core.

@@jacobreeves3110well the problem is scp isn't owned by anyone its a platform for people to make their own content so it wouldn't be profitable for anyone to make something like that, since most scps are written by different authors

well just because scp foundation is fiction doesn't mean those creatures don't exists, 95% ocean is undiscovered, only 10% caves are discovered and no country is fully explored, america is the most explored country and yet 60% caves are undiscovered. So yay there are chances that some scps are real but it doesn't mean that they will have the same powers, they might just look alike, thousands of new species and species that were thought to have extinct has discovered in last year, if they could have hide from us for that long of a time then imagine what can be there in the world. Also not to forget the fact that there our universe is 46 billion lightyears big where are thought to be 2 trillion galaxies each galaxy containing 100 billions stars ( there can be more but these are average ) each stars containing atleast 2 planets so lets say there are 100 billion stars and 200 billion planets in a galaxy, and there are 2 trillions of them and its only observable universe and its believed that the actual universe is 250 times larger than observable one. also not to forget the fact that universe is expanding at a speed faster than the speed of light so at this point saying scp like creatures don't exists is more retarded

A nice idea but the foundation does not typically view scp artefacts as toys to be used, because we will never fully understand them. What if the garbage decayed by the object gets distributed into the atmosphere, or us used as fission fuel for a yet unseen hostile entity?
Also, dumping all the world's trash around it would also require a world wide effort, thus revealing the foundation to the rest of the world.
