I've only just discovered this channel and I have to say it's a brilliant breath of fresh air! I follow quite a few of the usual airline vloggers but your channel has something else about it. My wife and I were both flight attendants in the late 90's early 00's and still love to travel. My sister in law lives in Whenuapai so that's become a regular trek. I'm always looking for ways to go premium but not break the bank! Brilliant channel, more please!!

I'm fast running out of footage, I have a few recent domestic flights to work through and then it'll be back through the archives to find old international flights with enough usable footage to make a video from. All together I can probably do another 10 with decent coverage of the flight and service and then I'll be really hanging out for the borders to open up!
I have to say, the menus looked amazing. Puts some other airlines to shame. How on earth did you choose what to eat? Ha! Having flown Singapore many times, their service never fails to impress.
Great review - love the lively style. Just FYI if you fly SQ again, if it's foot-room you're after, that "cubby" (foot area) is as wide as the seat on the bulkhead rows.
The flight was amazing I just went on it but the food and the plane have change its now an airbus A320 and the food was rice and something else. But I was in economy class
Oh, yes, the A380 has just started this route. I recall there was an A350 on it for a bit just before Covid. I do like the A380, it's so big that the flight always seems relatively smooth, I'm pleased you enjoyed it. And yes, Singapore has quite a step up in the meals between Economy and Business. Were you full after your meal? In my mind that's the best measure of airplane meal success!

@@SupersonicKiwi lol I think u really do need the peanut sauce for the satay... cuz any skewered meat will be dry af without sauce especially pre-cooked and reheated and served 30.000 feet above ground where ur senses r reduced did they not offer the peanut sauce? cuz they always ask do u want it on top of the skewers or on the plate to the side of the skewers... and tbh there is nth particular amazing about the skewers but the peanut sauce does change it completely...

I was able to correct my mispronunciation in a later review, but unfortunately UA-cam doesn't let you fix things and upload them again - the only option it to delete them the start over, but if you do that you lose all your views and comments. I hope the rest of your day was amazing!
There was more. I am glad you didn't try the Singapore banana bread for breakfast - you may have given them 1/10. It is very unusual. Not at all what I thought. Singapore Airlines are amazing, only had one poor flight, because of passenger behaviour and not staff - staff are all beautiful. I think I would have scored them better. Even though you overall score was OK.
@@janetyoung1033 I think Singapore are consistently the best airline I've flown. This flight - AKL-SIN, scored lower than the SIN-FRA one even though I think the fit out on the 777-300s (and A350s) is better than the A380s. Although I've heard they're redoing the A380s, so that will need to be reassessed once we're all allowed to fly again! I keep thinking I need to add some more criteria into my scoring, maybe for crew interactions / attitude and how the airports were, but I don't want the videos to get too boring with lots and lots of numbers - I want them to be easy to watch but still useful when thinking about who to fly with.

@@SupersonicKiwi honestly dont mind them... there will be others who enjoy this style of very active commentate style video... there is always an audience for sth... just a small critic, may slow down on the speech, like pause at certain times and just let the video sink in to the audience as it may become overwhelming for the audience to here u commentate hyperactively continuously --btw I the seat folds on itself manually the form a longer bed, not just like reclined...
