Another good reason to pick up either the Xbone or the Series S is that they can turn into emulation powerhouses. Enabling the dev mode on these consoles allows you to run and install various emulators, so you can have a massive library of PS2, PSP, N64, etc. games running perfectly. Could be interesting to research for a follow-up video.
That's why I think the S is a really compelling option, it offers a really great all in one, however for a steeper entry price. Just all depends on the person's budget and what they want to sacrifice for sake of budget.
I actually went and bought a Series S for this exact reason. I got it used for $160 and it does an amazing job running the games I've tried (which is SNES, N64, Gamecube, and Wii games using Retroarch and Dolphin)

As someone who has all the modern systems; Switch, PS5, Series X and the Steam Deck and greatly enjoys playing them I still won’t deny that the a Xbox One is a impressive bargain. For $80 or so dollars you get a system that has plenty of great games. The games for the most part are pretty dirt cheap and still hold up. I deleted the game and reinstalled it I troubleshot my console. It does that to a handful of games. Any ideas what’s wrong. The games work but some just freeze up.

I really enjoy this vid.as you have described my mindset. That's why I just bought xbox one x hyperspace Ed that has the ssd. I was wasting money on game pass
All the Xbox games I basically play I own. I solely have gamepass for the online access as it’s required. But you can buy the core version for only 9.99 a month. It gives you 25-30 games but will save you money if you’re not going to play them anyways. When something cool comes out (like stalker 2) or if you want to try a day one but don’t expect to play it long (black ops 6moght be 2-3 months tops) then you can change it to the 16.99 version for only the month and change it back. Will definitely save me on the blops6 aspect. Even stalker 2 I’ll beat it and probably never touch it again
If you can't afford to upgrade sure great options and will get you some games but when it comes to online games or updates eventually that'll come to an end. Best to get like $350 saved get a used series X or even like $200 for a used series S and just go from here.
Yea it’s definitely worth it to buy or keep your console, Xbox 360 and OG Xbox games play beautifully and many times at far higher frame rates than the original.
Ghost recon wildland and Badlands just $5 on ebay along with Bioshock the collection. Everyone collection bad 360 games im going for cheap xbox 1 games this year and got 40 of them so far.
@barfy75 To be honest... Yes, just to know I own the games rather than thru a subscription. Cause Microsoft can remove games from time to time. Plus they're cheap to own/collect right now & I can focus my series s for the new coming up games that won't be on the one x cause I own quite a few digital games that are xbox one on my series s.
Still play on Xbox One S once in a while and decided to skip Xbox Series. I mostly play on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 $450.00 AMD 5500U laptop that I use for remote work and gaming. I'm really into low-cost hardware. I don't do Gamepass. Just wait a bit and buy games at a nice discount.
Im gonna be honest I'll see if my local pawn shop can let me take it for 100.00 flat or a 125.00 gotta haggle on the price and I'll start collecting disc games to add to my library I'll skip this console generation and wait for the following next gen xbox...
unfortunetely mines power supply is El Fucked but I really enjoyed it more or less but honestly LOVE my PC so much more its just great as a more aggressive and competitive gamer I can really shine better with it, and the fact that its able to do anything is so great! but Xbox is a very good gaming option

I've been doing something similar with PS5, I bought it but this gen of consoles doesnt have a lot of games and I didnt own ps4 so im catching up with ps4 titles mostly
I got a halo infinite Xbox series x, I bought it because of the power, and the amount of compatibility on games!
I really enjoy this vid.as you have described my mindset. That's why I just bought xbox one x hyperspace Ed that has the ssd. I was wasting money on game pass
Awesome video!
Great video as always
i really like to play more Xbox 360 games and more original Xbox games on Xbox One/Series X so bad? 😢
Cool video. Great content😊
I have an Xbox one x and collect Microsoft rewards. I’ve had Gamepass ultimate for years and never paid for it.
I have the OG xbox one this year, I've been beating so many single player games.
Here's to Skate 4's launch success and prosperous future 🙏
If you can't afford to upgrade sure great options and will get you some games but when it comes to online games or updates eventually that'll come to an end. Best to get like $350 saved get a used series X or even like $200 for a used series S and just go from here.
i prefer series X, the SSD and the superior performance.
Yea it’s definitely worth it to buy or keep your console, Xbox 360 and OG Xbox games play beautifully and many times at far higher frame rates than the original.
PSA you can use Series controllers on the XBOX One
The xbox series s is only $300 and its still pretty good that should be the next console you get.
I have the series X and this benefits me too, right
Ghost recon wildland and Badlands just $5 on ebay along with Bioshock the collection. Everyone collection bad 360 games im going for cheap xbox 1 games this year and got 40 of them so far.
You can find a Series S for $200 if you're fine with digital-only
Can you play Skate 3 on Xbox one
I only got a xbox series x cause I only payed 300 dollars cause Meijer was having a sale so I got one for my friend as well.
Idk why but it urks me that most of what makes xbox one great is the backwards compatible games. PS2/3 & 360 are goated its not even close
Underrated
I want a xbox one x 😔
Picked 1 up 2 weeks ago for $75
I was given two used Xbox One S' from people who just didn't want them. I'm about to bust one of them out and play my Xbox 360 games 💥
Is the One X worth picking up despite me having a Series S?
Depends if getting physical games on the cheap appeals. If you're not wanting to do that, then no, stick with what you have.
Awesome 😊
beast game console Xbox one X I have this console Xbox one X ❤❤
Can it play new black opps zombies
I don't think gamepass is for everyone. I mainly buy old games for cheap. A lot of games are cross gen.
I do have a new console, though.
Too bad you cant play jet set radio future on the Xbox one x
unfortunetely mines power supply is El Fucked but I really enjoyed it more or less but honestly LOVE my PC so much more its just great as a more aggressive and competitive gamer I can really shine better with it, and the fact that its able to do anything is so great! but Xbox is a very good gaming option
I have games call of duty warzone Homefront the Rovulution and Gears of war 4
This is why i have stuck with PC all these years, too many games, too many way to get games, and also emulation.
sup BBK
Xbox One X is the best model of the Xbox One and it almost has the same specs as the Xbox Series X!!!
I still have the og xbox one
