All those different devices that those memos or whatever were done. It started with a old fashioned typewriter, then a scroll and quill pen and finally a stone tablet and hammer and chisel. Some of those are famous lines from Airplane.
Well, I gotta give props to the props That was one hell of an authentic TOS bridge. Somebody had too much time AND money on their hands. Great job on the project.
A GREAT many talented and dedicated fans built the sets. Initially, were built by the folks making the fan series "Starship Farragut", then sold to "Star Trek Continues" before being available for fan films like ours, "Dreadnought Dominion". There is much more than just the bridge. The studio is a full replica of the Desilu Studios sets from the 60's. Bridge, Corridors, Transporter Room, Cabin. Star Trek Continues added a TRUELY awesome Engineering Section with the "forced perspective" warp core. VERY awesome sight to behold, the whole thing! @@gdavisohio Wow, thank you for that reply. You all did an awesome job putting together that mashup of my favorite movie and my favorite TV series. Thank you!
I’M ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS HILARIOUS EPISODE SO MUCH!! I remember Airplane!! One of the most funniest movies ever!!😂😂😂😜😜😜😝😝😝👍👍👍!! More of these please😁😁❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant, Brilliant! I can't believe you did this. I grew up watching Airplane and Naked Gun this was spot on. I can only Imagine what's next: Kirk, Spock and McCoy wondering who is on first?
Hilarious! As someone who has been drawing Star Trek cartoons for over 40 years, it's nice to know there are others who can find the funny side of Trek!
great story love it and so great hope you been watching my fan films? great job everyone and take care from commodore productions aka commodore boone 🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖👍👍👍👍👍
Holy Moly! Lol! THAT was the best fan film/crossover/love letter/wink/tip of the hat production that I've seen in a long time! WOOHOO!! Worth the wait! Great job guys! I only wish that the time limit was as it used to be. But we take what we can get, especially when fans like us are hungry for material like this and the awesome story-telling that fanmade production companies like yours do. Thanks again for the laughs! Now I'll watch the OG "Airplane!" (w/text commentary! 😁 ) and think of a certain 3-nacelled starship that took a little trip! Hahaha! Be safe everyone! Thanks again and always Live Long and Prosper! 🖖🏽😎
@Amanda Pemberton Yes! Yes I DO need to see it! Been meaning to for a long while! Lol! According to Jerry Zucker and the Abrahams Bros., "Airplane!" isn't even 'loosely' based on "Zero Hour" as whole scenes and lines of dialog are just lifted from it! Hahaha! Too bad the USS Dominion and her crew didn't suffer a bad fish dinner at the hands of a bad food slot/synthesizer! 😋 Thanks for the reminder to catch Zero Hour! I really appreciate it! Be safe and healthy! LLAP! 🖖😎
We wracked our brain trying to figure out how to put Otto in the show.. but it wasn't until AFTER I released it that I thought about a EAH (Emergency Auto-Pilot Hologram)!!! Would have been so easy to do.. They always say .."hindsight is 20/20".. If a character ever has another Airplane Dream.. we WILL bring Otto.. the EAH to life!
Outstanding! Just what I needed. Roger, Over!
Great job guys ! 🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖
Fantastic show! Enjoyed the heck out of it super fun🤣😂🤣
This was great. A fitting tribute to both Star Trek and Airplane
Amazing. Loved this video
Just when I thought it was safe to fly! ( You can tell me, I’m the Captain! )
That was awesome great job to everyone involved in the make of this piece of artwork
I would love to see the out takes and bloopers on this!!!🤣
This will shirley (surely ) become a new classic in fan film legend.
Tonight's fan film will be accompanied by your choice of a steak or fish dinner. Place your orders early!
Bet, babe. Slide a piece o' da' porter. Drinks, I run da' java.
Yes, yes I remember. I had lasagne.
I love the bit about signing the logbooks. It's not an Airplane joke transplanted - it's a Star Trek original. Nicely done.
Our writer was insistent that we include those.. IT WORKED.. Loved doing it!

This in insane, I love it!! Please make more of these!
Awesome work guys!! I really enjoyed it. Especially the captain signing all the different "padds". 🖖🖖
Really great film guys!!! Well done!
Great job!
And there is no beaming in the red zone.....
You have always been able to beam from the red zone there's no beaming from the white zone.
That was so much fun to make.
A true masterpiece! It will surely never be surpassed!
probably not, but don't call us Shirley.
Great job guys! What a tribute! Would have been cool to get some of the actors from Airplane that are still alive to cameo.

Awesome!
That was awesome!
Nice!!! Surely the best I've seen so far! LOL!
would have been hilarious to open that Saurian Brandy and a genie, Trelaine or Q came out of it.
Excellent!
Well done and funny!
I’ll keep it simple. This was GREAT FUN!!! Suggestion. Place “What’s a Gaffer?” in the credits. 😂
Dang.. ANOTHER great idea that we missed! Thanks for watching.. and I'll have to remember that for a future credits gag!
am a great fan of the original series - and, i loved this! it was both reverant and irrelevant and sheer darn fun. kudos to all involved.

very funny... loved it! :-)
Punch and Pie!!! 🤣🤣
Quincy playing with you? Great story well done by all in every little giggle and twist LOL
It was a dream!.. Captain Brousseau learns that he shouldn't mix Saurian Brandy and old movies at night...
I just wanted to say "Good luck", we're all counting on you.
LOL.. Love comments that are ALSO a line from AIRPLANE!.. Thanks!

For a truly surreal experience watch the 1957 movie Zero Hour! on which Airplane! is loosely based.

Where's Otto?🤣

I can't help but think this all could have been avoided...
