Some departments in the U.S actually use those netting things that stop the wheels from rotating.. they are relatively new so not many departments have them.
"It's gonna flip a bit" "Hopefully" Daz is my spirit animal lol. Doesn't matter your age once you start shooting back and actually endangering others on the road? Sorry but you gotta go out in someway for the safety of others lol
I go even further. Imagine a situation where someone is waving a bang bang around others. But if they start to point it in the direction of the police? What do you think would happen? That's what should happen. There's no difference.
In Los Angeles there's police chases daily. Sometimes there's more than one chase at the same time. Or one will end and another will begin like 5-10 minutes later. Mostly Friday and Saturday nights and it comes in waves. Theres at least 2 news choppers with reporters and the police chopper. The news choppers follow the chases and live stream it to their websites and on their apps. You can get notifications anytime there's a live chase. They have high tech radars like infrared etc. The reporters tell you everything that's going on They even show the drivers speed. If they run on foot you can see them hiding like in the bushes and watch the cops close in on them. Sometimes they send in the dogs. During these chases there's sparks flying and pieces of car. They're blowing through red lights and intersections. Sideswiping vehicles. There's vehicles and people everywhere. They crash into signs, lights, poles, cars, buildings, anything, and they don't stop. On TikTok multiple people live stream these chases on their channel. That's how I came across it. I've seen like 30 chases. I've seen chases on motorcycles, campers, ambulances, construction trucks, vans, and a flat bed tow truck. You can watch it all live, you don't whats going to happen and you have the best view from the chopper. Sometimes they do get away. I've seen two get away but I don't know if they were caught later. The longer the chase last the more word gets out. People start coming out of their housing. Crowds start gathering on the overpasses if it's a highway chase and they cheer the driver on. If it's on city streets people will also cheer the driver on as he's screaming through their neighborhood at hight speeds with like 20 cop cars, helicopters, and spot lights chasing him. There's nothing like it.
In L.A. county in the U.S. there is a chase every other day pretty much. Get's old and boring when you want to watch the news but instead its just focused on the damn chase. And also cops can't perform a pit menuver without first getting the go ahead from an on duty supervisor. There is always the poteninal liabity and Civ-Cas that needs to be taken into account.
I watch a channel called Live on Patrol, it's the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office in St. Paul, Minnesota. It's interesting to see how the state, county and local police forces layer their coverage of areas. Sometimes the local police may call off a chase, but the county will stay in the chase, etc.
13:55 they actually DO have something like what Mike's describing, it's like a net on the front of the cop car and they drive it up under the back wheel and it wraps around the tire then the cop car is "tethered" to the suspect car
In the U.S. at least at a Federal level and in California it's more commonly referred to as Pursuit Intervention Technique. Thought it was odd it's called something else in this video by the narrator but apparently that's a common definition of it too.
@@jimponton693 Ummmmm. It is. But in the video I guess you didn’t watch they called it Precision Immobilization Technique. Which is apparently a new term for it. Been watching these videos since the 90’s when cops regularly aired on TV and never heard a PIT called that before.
Of course Milwaukee County, WI is featured twice. I'm not sure if you've heard of them in the UK, but the Kia Boys started here. If you haven't heard of them, donut media made a great video covering them and why it's so easy to steal Kias. There's another video by a guy named Tommy G, but I wouldn't recommend reacting to it.
It's hilarious watching you guys experience the crazy things that happen in America. 🤣🤣 You faces are identical expressions of concern, disbelief and wtf. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 America is wild... Dave and Mike always look shocked to hear backstories. Daz is the realest because he's lived here and seen some shyt.... 😊
In the new John Deere Farming Equipment, Combined Harvesters, Tractors etc.. they all have GPS TRACKING, so the company can track the vehicle, then remotely switch off and isolate the power to the engine and lock the doors, if they are stolen 😎👍🏼
If you are elected to do Jury Service in the UK, if it is your first time, you have to do 2 weeks, you can only get out of it if they call you up again within a 2 year period, but if 2 years has passed since last time you did it, you have to do it again, 🇬🇧😎👍🏼
As a long time Patreon member, you guys need to do more requests because patreon has turned into a donutoperator channel and now you're doing a bunch main channel police stuff.
I agree but it’s hard to complain there’s not many channels I know of that put out 2 or 3 videos every single day I do enjoy the donut stuff on Patreon tho
Ah yes, because they’re just supposed to wait for the person running from the police in a stolen car to run out of gas, that’ll definitely happen before they kill an innocent civilian. You’re really smart. It’s like you think of everything!
Nah, these are wack. There was a chase in OKC where the cops pitted a mustang 2-3 times and he kept driving, was like nah not today coppers. Pitted him one last time and stop sign(lol) got wedged in his back wheel and stopped him.
Well pit maneuvers in the states have killed innocent people, so they aren't the greatest strategy. Sometimes with highspeed chases even cops cause multi fatal crashes with bystanders which has caused lots of discussion of removing the tactics used.
Right? Lol these are literally the LEAST crazy pursuits on all of UA-cam. There are tons of amazing compilations of insane cop chases out there, and without the pointless narrator droning on and on about nonsense. Hopefully the Blokes will look a little deeper into some legit police chase compilations because they’d be blown away by what’s out there.
There has been a deployable netting that has been developed by an american company that the cops can run under the rear wheels thst cause the wheels to lock up and it was a few years back but I have no idea why that isn't widely used and it pisses me off. Also great that my state is in there twice lol. Milwaukee and the surrounding area needs to be burned to the ground and the dumbasses gentrified out of their houses. My wife is from west bend though that was on the map in the first one.
Some departments in the U.S actually use those netting things that stop the wheels from rotating.. they are relatively new so not many departments have them.
We tested them at Phoenix International Raceway in 1979/80 Cost for one to be installed is $4k. No excuse to not have one on every cop car.

"At one point they drove into a park and tore up the grass" Scary stuff.
If you like PIT maneuvers, watch some Arkansas State Police videos.
Dave's Spiderman joke went unnoticed 🤣🤣
Lol

need some ASP chase reactions! They are both funny and interesting!
Do NOT mess with ASP. Those videos are wild.

Arkansas is the best police force in America for pit stops.

Ummm. They're calling it a PIT maneuver. Wouldn't that be an acronym for Pursuit Intervention Technique?

That GA chase was right near the braves stadium. They couldn’t let that go too close to that.
not gonna lie some of those clips seem pretty tame. for a video called "craziest police chases" i was kinda underwhelmed
Should have a look at the tank pursuit we had here in San Diego, CA back in 95.
In the U.S., the number of motor vehicle deaths is outrageous.
I love these types of vids.
“Brevard county Florida” I was not expecting to here the county I live in 😅😅😅

There are videos of Arkansas cops pitting cars at over 100 mph .I saw at least 2 of them where the criminal was killed in the resulting crash
During the riots of 2020, some guy did get hit in the nuts with a rubber bullet. I think it happened in Arizona
I caught the Spider-Man gag Dave ;)
It isn't the cops that let them go, it is the court system.
As a long time Patreon member, you guys need to do more requests because patreon has turned into a donutoperator channel and now you're doing a bunch main channel police stuff.
They have a seperate channel for sports now btw
@mcmullin05 That's just Daz not the office blokes.
i'm not paying for anything.

I thought it was Ricky Gervais sat on the end, until @OFFICEBLOKEDAZ appeared above your head,
🇬🇧😎👍🏼
Cracks me up that a car is stolen and the police figure the best way to get it back is to pit it and total it,lol.
You lack common sense,lol.
Ah yes, because they’re just supposed to wait for the person running from the police in a stolen car to run out of gas, that’ll definitely happen before they kill an innocent civilian.
You’re really smart.
It’s like you think of everything!
Should watch some of the police grappling hooks.
Nah, these are wack. There was a chase in OKC where the cops pitted a mustang 2-3 times and he kept driving, was like nah not today coppers. Pitted him one last time and stop sign(lol) got wedged in his back wheel and stopped him.
That's why now we have the grappler
Trust me, you do not want the scale and aggressiveness of militarized U.S. law enforcement.
I would pay good money to be in a police chase and pit maneuver someone.
That Wasn't crazy at all,Just the people driving are.
Some cops have to have permission to do it and some cops will also have the chase called off due to speed or other conditions.
Yep, that's Columbus for you.
I've never understood the need to have 30 police cars chasing one suspect vehicle.
It's probably more of a statement.
Awesome video.
The best police chase of all time has to be OJ Simpson in the white Bronco.
13:59, haha nice
Awfully hard to outrun a radio…
Can you please do Japan vs US food wars reaction
ARKANSAS PITS ‼️
100 ++ miles per hour pits‼️
Arkansas do play ‼️
🚗🙂

Watch the video of a hellcat outrunning a helicopter
A police chase is an everyday affair. You will be shot either way
Guided missile. 😂😂
Another video with a pointless narrator
