Turpin family case is haunting. Daz, what you said is exactly what happened. The kids went from one hellhole to another in foster care. Split up and denied access to their funds (gal responsible for managing it just used it on herself) and endured more abuse in their new homes. Horrific on top of horrific.

Unfortunately there is. And there is only one way to avoid it. Jesus Christ offers us an alternative. We are all sinful, some of us more than others, but all of us fall short of the perfection we were made for. Our sins can be forgiven, but we must repent and accept Jesus as our savior. When we put our faith in Christ, we change. We are saved from the wrath of God on Judgement Day. You can run from it your entire life, but there will come a time when we all must make an accounting of our actions in front of the Lord of the universe. God loved us so much that he became flesh, lived a sinless life and was killed an innocent man, becoming a sacrifice for our sins. 3 days later he rose and conquered death, so that those who believe in him and follow may not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life." And "No one comes to the Father except through me". We all fall short, but our purpose can be realized when we understand what God has done for us. We are saved through Grace, by faith. Read the words of Christ and find true wisdom. If we all abided by his words, there would be no pain, misery, violence, or suffering. Life is short, eternity is forever.

It varies from State to State but generally it costs about three times as much to execute a prisoner than it does to keep them in prison for life (90 years about). And it takes 20 years usually before someone is executed. I think there are a lot of laws that make the use of the fatal chemicals cost a lot. But it costs a lot to keep them separate along with other costs/factors. He’ll definitely be in a maximum security prison inside a cell for 23 hours a day for the rest of his life. Plus he won’t ever get to go outside. He might see sky from a concrete enclosure for an hour a day but those aren’t all going to be sunshine and rainbows. And that actually costs way less.

When you guys talk about the death penalty and saving money by giving them the death penalty the opposite is actually true. It costs more to give someone the death penalty then to lock them up for the rest of their life. It costs over a million dollars for someone on death row but less than half of that to lock them up behind bars for the rest of their life. When sentenced to death in the US it can be decades before you actually are out to death because there are several appeals you're allowed to have which is pretty much going through trial again for each appeal. As part of those appeals, there's all kinds of filing fees, lawyer fees, witness free, expert fees, transportation fees, etc ...You're housed in a separate area of the prison which requires more security and bigger facilities.
And in the US when someone is sentenced to life in prison, it's not necessarily the rest of their life in prison because life is considered 25 years in some states. And with good behavior, a person can be out in about 18-21 years unless you're charged in federal court in which you have to do 85% of your time before you're eligible for parole.

Further more, when given Narcan, they should immediately recover, it's funny that the cop never seems to recover from the Narcan but it takes other officers reassurance to bring them around... Telltale signs of a panic attack. Luckily it's starting to become well known because thinking fentanyl can spontaneously kill you from dozens of feet away puts people's lives in jeopardy. It's fake. It's a panic attack. The negative test results should be the end all be all but police officers like to still push that narrative for sympathy and funding.

I fully realize as a parent you'd want to go back inside but in reality, most likely you'll succumb from the smoke or become entrapped before finding your loved one.
Then we have to look for two victims inside of focusing on your finding your kid/family member.

@@aj897 you can’t od on fentanyl just by touching it or standing next to it😂 they’re just having panic attacks because they believe the same myth you do.

Not sure he was pretending.. new on the job, probably told lots of scary drug horror stories during training, then freaked out and had a genuine panic reaction when he had to handle them for the first time. So more so overreacting then pretending.
