This strategy is very interesting. I just watched Tradings Tickers again, it makes sense just need to be careful, and it is also great to see that still working even after many years that T. Grittani made the DVD
My trading improved to a new level when I started entering in small pieces as the price moves my risk, and exiting also in pieces on pushes when it moves in my favor.
LOVES YOUR VIDEOS! Can’t stress it enough! Thank you for putting all the hard work! Would you do a video on how to find over extended tickers like this? Bless you
Just came across your video it sounds simple and cool... Thanx for the tips... what platform do you use to trade stocks or penny stocks... For shorting thanx
Can you go into more detail, I feel like what you are talking about here would be great content, but it feels rushed. Would like to see what you use for scans to find the trades as well as how you go about selecting the stocks to trade in the scans filtering them out. Also better examples. I love what you are doing and the content on your interviews are great, but the strategies videos could use some more content. Thanks for your time.
When you mentioned you were profitable, I feel like that it’s pretty straightforward. Is there anywhere where we could view your profit chart? Not being nosy, just inspired by you. I just would like to see your track record. Thanks
Do you have a video where you discuss broker recommendations for short selling? Been looking but haven't seen one. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing it. Thanks!
hello and great video, i am becoming more familiar and with your help i am becoming more confident, i too prefer shorting to longing but haven't had the most consistent profits yet, but i am gaining confidence with your help. I have a question and i hope it isn't a silly one and i have tried to find the answer but cannot seem to find the answer or at least one i can understand. 1. with the number of short shares available for a particular stock, will the shares available continue to decrease with the popularity of short selling growing almost exponentially it seems? It almost seems that the more popular short selling becomes, the less opportunity there is to do it with recent runners, and almost makes a newbie trader lean towards long biased trading, even though it seems so much easier to see the trend with shorting. Sorry if the question is a weak one, but i cannot seem to grasp the concept, thanks, Tim
monarch construction great questions. Logically, the answer is yes, but in practice it hasn’t been a huge issue. Their are for the most part shares to short. The cost may be expensive depending on popularity. Also, as short becomes popular, the majority of those “short sellers” suck, and will blow up way faster than longing . So I see it as a cycle that we will be fine. If it changes then I will change too and have to adjust to long bias.
@@BTheStory liked and subscribed :) Thank you for making this vid and sharing this wealth to us all. It's helped directed me to better understanding level2 & TnS.
Ive been paper trading for a while now and it turns out i have a niche for this kind of set up. Keeping in mind that I know paper shorts are nothing like the real stress of actual money on the line. I was wondering what platform you use for making trades. Is there any brokerage that is either simpler to make trades on or more ideal for people who tend to short stocks in regards to commissions or forced covers? I truly understand paper shorting is nothing like the real thing and for that reason alone I want to start taking small positions to start to get the feel of the real pressures of working with real money and in 2 months of studying and over a month of trading(which i know is not a lot of time) I can only find comfort in trading shorts. Over and over again i hear people saying to trade what youre comfortable with and this last month I've grown my paper account from 6k to 15k while taking a week off. And i cant say enough how much I know this is mostly because I have no real risk with paper. Im not over zealous to start my trading career yet but i have a small pot of money that i can afford to experiment with a margin account with. Just hoping you could help answer those couple questions about how and where you set up for shorting?
Yes bro! Thanks for the love and sorry for my delay. Locate's is dependent on each broker but my broker has locate tool that I can use to search for locates on any stock and it will tell me if they are available or not.
I use Tradezero, ToS, and Das Trader. I mainly use big % gainers as my scanner. Market cap is usually under 200mil, although I been playing with big caps. VOL needs to b e abnormal
You know, I've heard recently that it is way higher than what I paid, I beleive back in 2016 ish time frame I paid like 3k or so, but now I hear its in the 8k range... lol crazy! anyway , i did learn quite a bit, u can also learn on youtube but it isn't as organized... since you have to search
For me, it really does. Some traders don't care, but I really care about it. It can tell me a lot about the stock. WATT I shorted yesterday late day and had a good short b/c of the float info and of course the chart, and today was even better short. So for me yes
@@BTheStory yh another key thing i would say is look at capr on Wednesday. Huge short squeeze cuz it was a low float stock. I have a rule where I do not short anything below 3 mil share float. And if you want to, then you should decrease your size. Gl man.
Hey, I’m part of Sykes challenge group as of 8.4.20 I’ve flown through the dvds and I’m working through his webinars and video lessons. My next mission is to create a ton of excel stats. With the end goal of trading sometime around nov. any way I can pick your brain on stats or get some guiding info? Lmk. You responded to one of my comments recently btw to point out. VOLUME, PRICE ACTION ANALYSIS, PATTERN RECOGNITION AND CRITERIA DISCIPLINE
Thank you for the video. Quick question how do use volume when shorting? Volume low price stays flat or just want to know how u use volume price action to short?
kik locus yea I mean it is never just one answer in trading. You have to take the entire picture into account. Sorry 😐 can’t explain via text. One day I’ll have to make a video.
Hi, thanks for your great videos! I wanted to decide which dvd should I buy first especially for market condition right now, which one do you prefer Dux's trading techniques or Tim's trading ticker?
I suggest watching both and deciding, I mention many times which is my favorite in my podcast, that being Trading tickers but doesn't mean its better than the other because it all depends on what your looking for. I suggest watching both and seeing which vibes with you and choose.
Love this strategy! Very high odds. Sometimes I risk red to green (the previous day close) or sometimes, depending on the price action, I have a wider stop at the previous HOD. Odds are 85% on what I have tracked so far on more than 50 samples. Overextended gap downs and short spikes into major daily resistance with volume are 2 strategies with high odds! You really don't need anything else to grow your account.
@@BTheStory the short into daily resistance can be tricky but it just needs to be major resistance with at least 20M traded that day - the more the better, the float needs to be over 2M, the more the better, it needs to have room to drop and spike into it, and the daily needs to have a descending trend where baggies are begging to get out the next time it spikes. If you track the daily resistance volume, and follow these factors, you're good!!
Ricky Mahajan funny you say that. I actually have been tracking it since I don’t trade it and I noticed all those factors lol. Good to hear it too. Good shit brotha.
I suggest you keep up with the podcast, b/c I share all of this weekly. Where I am at, consistency etc... So yes I would rather you listen to the journey :) *Yes I found consistency* but still important.
