I was gunna say...I wouldve already had a fish on, on most of the lakes I fish...it can be a challenge to get bait past the trout at 10-20 feet to the perch well below that...=)
The first rod and reel did get the job done, but you can hear that it's not nearly as smooth as the 2nd reel in the video in both the reeling and drag system. But most any combo will work. I see the scud was tied with a blue hue line, any lessons learned regarding line colors?
