Your budgeting method is literally the best method! I will give Dave Ramsey credit for motivating me to want to get my financial life together but your method once you understand exactly where to start is the best method there is.
I absolutely love your videos. Your workbook has changed my financial life. Just finished paying off all my credit card debt! And now I’m engaged! Which is exciting but daunting lol could you do a video or post about budgeting for a big event like a wedding? Don’t even know where to start! Thanks!
I just recently got into budgeting with the happy planner! It’s been a little hard to start and get my paychecks and money lined up but your videos have been so helpful’! Thank you! Love the cash envelope idea! I hope to get your work book as well once I get a little more used to it all ☺️
WOW this is very very VERY HELPFUL! I've seen some budget planning videos but yours is one of a kind. I appreciate that you showed step-by-step on budget planning and makes me re-think the way I budget my money. Thank you!
Loving your tracker, I will buy one! Love that it has no dates on it. I’m not loving how the savings (sinking funds etc)comes AFTER the bills and variable expenses. I’m sure I can simply use it a different way and just hop, around subtracting, just thought I’d comment incase a lot of people prefer for constructive critics sake for the next generation of the tracker next year! I think it would be helpful to encourage the habit of savings and “paying yourself first”. That is how we do things and it’s an important mentality in the order in which I budget.
Charisse Cameron I really enjoyed making my cash envelopes and my budget for June.. I really want this to work so I am putting it my all. Good luck to the both of us! We can do it! Financial freedom.. 🤗
I think she said she is going to launch it again in October! You can sign up for the waiting list here: shop.thebudgetmom.com/collections/workbook/products/the-budget-by-paycheck%E2%84%A2-workbook?variant=21865589342313
I bought the printable planner last night. Trying to get my first working budget is hard. I really like your set up but it's a little different than what I'm used to. Add to that I'm taking over our budget after getting married this year. I've been a long time Dave Ramsey fan so other than mortgages we have less than 1200 in debt. However.... We've not been budgeting. Or saving. And we have several expenses we are paying yearly. Trying to figure out where to plug these in. Such as home insurance. Car tags and registration. Property taxes. Where would you suggest plugging these in? Under bills? Or sinking funds?
What do you do if your fixed expenses are over? Like if you estimated on the high side but still too low? And on the flip side, what do you do if you have extra from fixed expenses? Use towards savings?
I would love your workbook but it looks like the hard copy version is no longer available. do you foresee that coming back? I am definitely a paper planner kinda girl!!
This was most understandable budget video I’ve watched. Wish I had this when I was younger 😩 I’m going to start budgeting because I work to hard to not really know what I’m spending my money on. Thank you 😊

WOW! I have been doing my budget in a 9 x 13 binder. I am caregiver for 2 family members & we have different income different parts of month vs all expenses. I LOVE YOUR BINDER & ALL ENVELOPES! Where can I find???? THANK YOU!
You can print it out, make heavy covers from poster board and have a print shop (like Staples, or a local printer) put that kind of binding on for you.
Thanks for the video. Im thinkjng about ordering your system but i have a question. In your budget planner is the sinking fund tracker included or is it only included in the pdf printable file?
Love the thoroughness. You're awesome. Thank you for sharing your real life numbers too. It confirms your genuineness. Gotta say though as a former bank employee I bout' jumped through the screen when you showed your cash and the bills were not facing the same direction :)
Love your videos. I'm not a gal, but still appreciate the value you give. Question: How do you account for taxes since you are self-employed? I don't see a line item for that. Or do you have separate books for your business?
I asked this when I first started budgeting. Right now I take the change and allow myself to buy a coffee now and then. I was buying coffee daily. I don't feel guilty spending $3 a week vs $165 a month.
Love your videos! I have a Pay by Budget book and I am trying to prep myself to start using it. I’m nervous because I have cc debt and just not sure how to pay that down efficiently. Also, when you use cash for gas, don’t you find it less convenient then being able to pay at the pump with your debit card? I have young children and find it to be a pain to take them out of the car especially in colder months to go in to pay cash when I could leave them in the car and just use my debit card for gas. Thoughts? Thank you!!
She mentions in an instagram tv video that you may want to keep your gas budget in your checking account, and swipe your card at the machine if you have small children. Just remember to include that part in the budget. If you have one car envelope and budget $200 for gas and maintenance ( $100 for gas and $100 for maintenance) you would keep $100 in your envelope and $100 in your checking. Your envelope would say you budget $200 but would only contain the partial $100. You have to remember to track thr spending on the back of your envelope for both the cash and the card swipe.
Renate Go Lucky girl! Me too! My car was in the shop for a week. I’m still making payment on it and the repairs cost us closer to $700. I had to register our truck in order to get around while my car was in the shop so that was an extra $200 something, it was my daughters birthday, her graduation, and my moms been sick in the hospital for 7 month... we’ve been driving 5 hrs round trip once or twice a week for 7 months with a lot of extra cost due to that and feeding us and our 3 kids while out of town. It’s never ending so we’ve started using credit cards which were all paid off and now they’re all maxed again. I wonder if it’ll get easier and feel like giving up and only paying what we need to survive
@@milkmoney1966 wow, that's a lot. I hope it gets better for you. I maxed my cards out too!! But it ended up doing damage to my credit. I'm thinking about paying the cards off and cutting them up.🤔 I honestly don't know what to do. It's starting to bother me.
I get paid bi-weekly, single mom, with two teenage sons in sports. What would you suggest if my debt is more than my income and I cannot afford to pay the other medical bills and some collection bills? I can only afford to pay for a few of them at a time. I cannot work overtime because I am also taking online college courses.
Call your insurance company and see if they will negotiate a reduced payment or even final bill for you. If they won't, try doing that yourself. Get any changes in writting.
I have watched a few of your videos now and I have noticed that while you have a 529 for your son and insurance for yourselves; you do not have any investment savings other than for your house. Why is that not included?
I was curious if you have an Amazon Storefront. I’ve been seeing other YT influencers have curated pages of products they use all one place vs multiple links to each product. Thought it would be good after seeing your DIY nail video. love your method and videos!
I love your videos but, please do something about the volume. When you're talking I have it turned up to the max, when you kick it the music it's so loud!
I love your videos however I always feel like you’re raising your voice. Maybe try relaxing a bit I could only imagine how tired you feel (from talking) after the videos. Thank you so much for you videos though. They’re super inspiring
Very helpful video love it I'm trying to catch up on all ur videos new and old

I appreciate your how clear your voice is.you also are very fluent, a natural. thank you for your wisdom.
My fave part of your intro is when you say,”I’ve just changed my life! And you put your hand on your head!” So adorable!!

Love your whole process! I have the Budget By Paycheck workbook and it is a game changer!
I need to get this workbook..it has everything anyone would need to budget!

Me too.
I did my cash enveloped for the first time this month.
Good luck!

You can print it out, make heavy covers from poster board and have a print shop (like Staples, or a local printer) put that kind of binding on for you.
I printed mine out at a local print shop. It only cost about $15 and was totally worth it!
Thanks for the video. Im thinkjng about ordering your system but i have a question. In your budget planner is the sinking fund tracker included or is it only included in the pdf printable file?
Can you do a video on how you set up your budget binder?
Question for ya, why don't you fully fund your sinking funds and then focus on your savings goal? I hope this isn't a stupid question. Thanks!

Love your videos. I'm not a gal, but still appreciate the value you give. Question: How do you account for taxes since you are self-employed? I don't see a line item for that. Or do you have separate books for your business?
On her Instagram stories she's mentioned that her business info is now seperate.
How can I include in the budget a payment in the beggining of the month when I recieve my first check in the mid of June?
love your system. I was wondering why you call discretionary category your "sinking" funds.
I love this planner
How do you deal with change (coins )? I rarely spend them so I have a couple places with piles of them.
I asked this when I first started budgeting. Right now I take the change and allow myself to buy a coffee now and then. I was buying coffee daily. I don't feel guilty spending $3 a week vs $165 a month.
When is the workbook going to be sold?
Thank you for this! you are soooo inspiring!
Recently started following you! Love it!
Amazing job keep going
I have put in my email to your website multiple times but i have not recieved an email to get access to the downloads
This budget book is similar to the way I do my budget. I need one like this for next year !! Where did you get it ???!
This might be a silly question especially since I'm not good at math at all but how do you know how much you should be putting in your cash envelopes?
She explains it at 18:36

I don’t have kids and I pay at the pump. It’s way more convenient. I keep the amount I want to pay for gas in my checking account and use my card.
Love your videos! Is that budget planner for sale?
There's a printable version online at The Budget Mom website but in the Fall she opens the presales for the next version 😄
@@IntentionalObserver Thank you so much!
Every time I try to start budgeting something huge happens and blows our budget to s*%& 😫
same here, both of my vehicles needed work a week apart, sucks.

Where did you find Life Insurance for$ 9.00?
How did you make the cute holiday type envelope?
I luv the holiday envelopes too!

Did you make this budget book your self? Or where did you get it
Where did you get the Holiday Envelopes from?
TheMysticsoul77 you can buy them online on her website. They’re awesome!
@@CayenneWater Thank You!
What planner is this?
Just out of curiosity, do you not make income from UA-cam ?
Does anyone know where her challenge envelop is?
Where did you buy your envelopes
She has a store where she sales her items
are we ever really out of debt - rent , car note, insurance , water bill, the list goes on and on

Do you just throw away your used envelopes every month? Since you said you create new envelopes every time you get paid. 🤨🤔
I'm guessing that since she writes on the back of them that she does not use them again...
h06anbjo
If that’s the case, that’s a lot of work and waste of paper to be making envelope every month.
I love your videos but, please do something about the volume. When you're talking I have it turned up to the max, when you kick it the music it's so loud!
☺☺☺ great video as always
Great video only thing is....Is it in your heart to give Tithe and offerings? However subscribing. This is a very helpful way of budgeting.❤️
Where did you find your bill tracker at?
It’s personal product. Check in her description box
It’s all in her shop. You can download the whole workbook or just individual sheets you may want. She also sells all the cash envelopes as well. 😊
Love your eyelashes
I love your videos however I always feel like you’re raising your voice. Maybe try relaxing a bit I could only imagine how tired you feel (from talking) after the videos. Thank you so much for you videos though. They’re super inspiring
Agreed, it feels staged.
