- In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. UA-cam earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

I was moved to tears when Stephanie opened a gift a while ago from someone telling the horrors of human trafficking. I would dearly love for one month to have the Cadeaux revenue go to protecting women and children from this horrid business. I am always astounded by the wonderful, thoughtful gifts that people send, especially those which are selected for individual personalities. I am an emotional person, if I ever received a personalized gift I would be sobbing tears of joy. So those that send such gifts, you must have a special kind of heart.

The bags are such beautiful colours and I loved Yoda and the jewellery too. The hand knitted shawl is exquisite and will be both warm and soft to wear. 🥰

What delightful gifts. Michael's teddy was so lovely. Nattie looked like " Poca Hontas" with the red strap around her forehead. The Michael Korrs handbags were simply stunning. Another wonderful escape.💛🐻👜

The blue shawl, which you wore as a winter scarf, would be perfect worn over the shoulders for late summer evenings and early early fall days, when you just need to chase away the chill. That way you can enjoy the amazingly beautiful lacy pattern (completely hidden when worn as a scarf). ♥️♥️♥️

Lovely caddeau and gifts. Theodore is adorable. I have a handmade Teddy with movable arms and legs. It was given to us when we got married in 2000. Best wishes and enjoy all.
I also have a genuine bear my girls and I made at The Boyd’s Bears “home” in Pennsylvania about 20 years ago. I named him Woody in memory of my father. Unfortunately this place closed a few years ago. Best wishes to all at La Lande🥰

My son was in eighth grade when I was 42. His oldest girl starts kindergarten, soon, and he's 42. I am going to do what my mother would do! Wear lipstick as red as Natty's purse, and kiss her, if she lets me. I cried when my kids started school. This will be her third year in school. Two years in Spanish school first. Wonderful gifts!

I dream of the day when all the stars align that I may visit the chateau. I have a Vermont Teddy Bear ( I’m 67 ) and while on a vacation years ago visited the place in Vermont where they are made. That shawl - Beautiful! (Just to be safe, it will need to be handwashed with a woolen soap and laid flat while carefully straightening to dry. If it's fingering weight yarn, it will dry quickly.)

Donation idea. There are many people who are color blind and cannot see all that is La Lande like most of us. There are corrective glasses, but they are not affordable to some. Maybe there is an organization that helps give out these glasses. 😁

There is a costume wardrobe in Narnia (the attic space) and Stephanie has a small clothes room, that women raid for costume parties. Also friends who are designers bring more into the house for parties and when they visit.
i live at the bottom end of your lifestyle. im just not good with recognition, i watch you because of our contrasts, even though ive studied art history and anthropology, and on to the physics relm its the art history that lives around you that keeps me watching week by week, sadly i can only watch so much of chateau at times almost soul sucking, but the rest of your chateau antics i love, drama, drama, drama.............. thats what keeps a big home running, you have those that hate the rich, and those that just like the history and those that just love watching you and anna, and the petericks, as well as that really sweet couple 'its a wonderful life' couple. your influence is a wonder, and the people you've brought together is incalculable, im sure god is even proud of you

John and Mike are amazing people..I still talk with them often we just spoke over the weekend for 3.5 hours. So glad we all made friends Halloween 2021 Lalande brings people together one of the best things from France.. The head bands (purse straps) reminds me of Johns costume with his groovy headband.

I think the name Theresa is the perfect name for your Valentine bear! 😉 The blue glasses omg I did not know they came from the Madonna Inn, as a child it was a magical place and it meant we were almost to LA. Driving from San Francisco where i grew up to Los Angeles to visit family if we were good my mom would stop there for a snack my favorite besides pie ala mode was a butterscotch shake and they were served in those glasses!!!!! I have the Scottish bear from the Vermont Teddy Bear Company (dont be all jelly Scotman!) - I got him when I visited the factory (what a great tour!) and named him Duncan Bear. Years later I had a son we named Cuyler Duncan...I told my son his middle name is after my bear (HA HA HA HA HA)
