Looks a lot like the crazy dances of the swing and rock and roll era. Just that the music is a sped up and hype type of cumbia. Seems like some fun stuff. I wonder how long they practice to get the moves right, 'cause a lot of them look so dangerous if you don't get them exactly right.
La quebradita is some high level dance shit not everyone can do it in mexico its very rare , demands so much not just for the guy the girls also has to not be tense during these crazy movements

Some of these look like Daddy Daughter so they are really lightweight and flexible. I think the girls need as much if not more strength than the guys! It’s like pairs figure skating!
Some of those dance moves have been around since the Big Band era of the 40's and 50's. Check out some footage of American Bandstand from the 50's. They would have dance offs like that back then. Now I'm not saying that all those moves are all old. You can see some of those women have some gymnastic training.
