Thank you great video, something I like to have when digging up stumps with a mini excavator is some 6-12" pruning blades for a Sawzall/ reciprocating saw, that seems to speed up the process on some of those stubborn roots. I appreciate you taking the time to make this video!

Thanks I do my best. Its got a couple of marks on it now that I need to touch up over Christmas, but I try not to scratch it if I can help it.
Good job. I have ripped out a few roots with my Yanmar 36-6 for homeowners. One had a tree company take down a tree then ground the root. They didn't grind it down enough as I was regrading and re sodding the yard. I ended up digging out a massive root that the arborist left behind and only ground down to existing sod.

Hi Ollie, Thanks for making these videos. Can you explain what the initials "CW" mean? It is usually shown when looking at buckets and other attachments and usually is something like CW00, CW05, CW10, etc. I really cannot find what it refers to, or what the numbers mean. I am in the process of buying a Yanmar B25V-A from 2011 and would like to add a couple of attachments like the ripper and rake you have shown and get the feeling I need to understand this term. Many thanks.
I have an RSL engineering ripper tooth for my little 1.5 ton Kubota KX36-3 and on the back of the ripper it has a root saw , so once you have found the roots you can curl the tooth and saw the roots then pull the stump out

Have you ever seen the Wurzelratte? Its like a blade for chipping stumps with a digger...
Yes, do they go on the bottom of auger drive units? Its an interesting idea but must leave a lot still in the ground as it will only grind the main stump down?
@Olliegunns No, it is more like an L shape that is sharpened and just goes on the quick connect... You tear chunks out of the stump till its gone.

would it not be cleaner to use a stump spliter or planer ollie
problem with grinding is that you have to remove all that woody dirt and replace it or you end up with a big dead spot.
You are right, it would, but in this lawn they didn't want a sink hole in a few years time exactly as @villageearthwright has said.

I think it is better to dig them out than grind and hide
I've had them create sink holes after a few years as the wood rots which isn't ideal in a lawn. We had a digger, so we took it out!
You are using the same mats as the French Drain Man!
These track mats are really good. Much better than plywood I used to use and last forever.

25, and they are the ones that can take a lorry. I have the clips to put them all together if needed too
