Perfect site and project for the 3cx, satisfying to see her at work! Surely you didn't have to pay for the repair of the buried manhole and cable? Did you take on that liability as part of the contract? Sure there could be numerous buried services exposing you to no end of repair charges!
Well I'm glad it wasnt wet, that could have turned into a big mud bath! I dont think you should have to cover the costs of the drain covers or the cable, fixed price or not.

Great video, definitely shows how much faster the backhoe is on a job like that even to an 8 tonner.

Why would you have to pay for the lid? You broke it accidentally and nobody has warned you about the existence of the manhole nor the cable?!
