- Written by Mike Chapman, Nick Chinn and Holly Knight, the song was first recorded by American rock band Spider in 1981, and later became an international hit for Tina Turner when she released the album Private Dancer in 1984.

Love you Tina but this is WICKED GREAT and just as awesome as your version....
And they did it first. I heard this at a disco and went to the Djibouti booth to find out what it was. Imagine my surprise years later to hear Tina doing it and making it a hit.
That pic is of "Spiders" a current Swedish rock band, not "Spider" the American 70s/80s band. Come on SuperMeurtrier, sort it out :-)
