She has worked so hard to have what she has. She suffered greatly early in her career. Bad men, discrimination on and on! But she has done it. She's a joy to listen to any music makes my day better. And, those legs! My wife, who was very lovely as well was jealous Tina's legs. Just a great woman! The world is better for her! Being in it!

I'm as American as they come. But when I was in the military, I was stationed in England for six years. The difference between each country is night and day. England, and Europe as a whole, treat people they love very differently than they do here in America. Tina made a good move when she moved to Switzerland and eventually became a Swiss citizen. They love her and keep on loving her years after she stopped making music. She seems to be a very, very logical person. Much respect to her...

All of you on this thread defending this social loser must be Black Republican Men wearing of all things....white wife beater shirts. There is no justifying treating another person with violence and verbal assault and thank God we've now got laws in place and they're called HATE CRIMES. Any derogatory racial, sexual, gender etc. statements are currently defined as HATE CRIMES. Any one who even used that old nasty N-Word is now guilty of a Hate crime. Rightfully so, trying to justify a man's violent dominance over another or a woman is the definition of a social loser and so it is and shall be.

I have had the privilege of personally meeting her in Minneapolis when she performed at First Avenue for her come back tour. She was, down to earth and very kind. She also gave me a poster for the tour, a signed 8x10, a T-shirt, and a kiss! During the show that night, she saw me standing next to the stage and I gave her the white bandana I was wearing. She carried it around with her for a few minutes and wiped off her sweat. She then gave it back to me. It's a treasure and I have never washed it. Thank you for a night I will never forget Tina!

I've been very lucky to have sung with Tina, and it's undoubtedly one of the greatest memories in my life. Tina was so genuine and funny, omg she could make us laugh, she was generous and gracious, she personally invited myself and my best friend to the premier of her biopic movie. What made her so lovely as a person, is that she never forgot where she came from, the poverty of her childhood and never took for granted all she had, and the people that were there for her, and that passion she had for people and life, gave her an incredible warmth, but above all, she stayed humble. I loved her she was so special, but I know that when heaven came a knocking, she walked through the light, and the place is now rocking. Love you always. Xx

My adoration for this woman knows no bounds. Back in the 80s, after I had seen Tina Turner in concert for the first time, I told a friend I could die happy because I had seen her LIVE. He said he could die happy as he had seen David Bowie in concert. For my 21st birthday, he drew a card for me, Tina Turners legs from the Private Dancer album. I cherished it. Having moved home so often since we shared a home together whilst at art school, I've lost that card.
My friend passed away, aged 21. When I see Tina, I always think of him.
