I can't think of a reason for you to go into the vent at the end, other than to literally stage a jumpscare because you knew the noise would attract it to drop behind you. That would be such a flex, considering how long it took to get there in the first place!
Fuck me! That was stressful to watch! When I played on Nightmare the alien never came down to that first freezer room section, but it did when I played on novice!
In my case he did in hard, as I was using the computer in the little room, I heard him drop from the vent, he instantly saw and run to me, I couldn't even get out of the animation, *Backstab sound*

@@Whimsy3692The tracker beeped because the Alien was already running towards him. It does that when it detects motion within 95 ft of you. Also the only way anything can hear your tracker is if you're actually using it.

Because with Insane AI, there's no benefit TO crouching. It sets (and unlocks) all of Alien's parameters at max since the start of the game. If you take too long with crouching, being in sight of Alien even within 20-30 meters range, it will find you and quickly kill you. Strategy for this mod is mainly trying to speed through the game (granted quite possibly by death as well). Nightmare difficulty is just a little added bonus.

It also happened to me on nightmare difficulty. Since I had watched a video where the alien didn’t show up, I thought I was safe, but I was wrong.

The only thing i will say about crouching that xenomorph cant hear u walk when hes in the vent, but encounter without crouching is crazy
