I added a extra rubber seal liner are the inside both of my two front compartments and it helps a lot
I plan on buying next Spring. I fish both Ponds/lakes and Great Lakes. I have got it down to Nitro Z18 Pro, Triton TRX 18, and this boat (TRX 195) I like the aluminum as it’s no big deal if you scrape bottom but I also don’t know how well it’ll handle the bigger lakes and I’d rather be in a fiberglass in a sticky situation driving back to the ramp. I got some time to figure it out to make the a good decision.
I think I would pick the Nitro, just for the boxes to keep everything a lot more dryer. Plus fiberglass boats can take big water and wind better. I will put my boat on Lake Superior but the conditions almost have to be perfect. I was out fishing there and the wind shifted. It went from flat calm to 4 footers. Well couldn’t see anything but water at the bottom of the swells. Not going to lie that had me a little worried. Lesson learned out there with wind lol.😂
I'm in the same situation right now. Looking to buy summer or fall of 2025. Looking at the z18 or the tracker 195. Have a tracker 160 now. Take it out on green bay when the weather let's me but really want to fish it more. Just have to figure out if the extra 10 to 15k is worth it for the fiberglass. @@Fillet_Release
I had a 2013 175SC DEEP V. I always used the cover when it was outside to keep stuff dry. Tracker Boats are affordable for a reason, they take shortcuts on quality.
Great looking boat! I agree with all your comments. I bought a Targa last year. I was looking at Lund's but it was another 10K for less boat, smaller motor, etc. Just couldn't do it! Tight lines

My experience with touch screens is they accumulate finger prints/dirt/water prints. Its quite annoying keeping them clean
As with any so called “budget boat” it takes another 10-15 k dollars for all the bells and whistles …

The motor is awesome and I would say it’s bulletproof. No problems always starts and never miss a beat. Top speed is 60 MPH. That’s with no headwinds and loaded with gear.
Curious on the drift rate and such on windy days. I prefer chasing musky so that is a big concern. Layout seems nice 👍
It is not the best in wind. It’s light weight allows the boat to be pushed around. The 80lb thrust trolling motor can move it through strong winds as long as you’re going straight. For me 25mph winds it’s to much for it. If you will be on a lake that get waves from wind go with a 52” shaft.
Did you get the oil slick from motor resolved?
Yeah it was the seal on the hydraulic lift

Touch screen socks for sonar unit for the same reason it sucks on a laptop...it's a cleaning nightmare!

@@Fillet_Release you ain't lying. I did see two different guys come up with dyi mounts that really worked and one of them seemed pretty solid even though it was mounted into the plastic but if you do it rite it looks like it will work. Let me find his page again and I'll let you know who to look up but all I did was search dual mounts for tracker boats on you tube and they popped up

I bought a 2019 175 TXW....GREAT BOAT....WARRANTY SUCKS.....PAINT CAME OFF AND HAD TO PAINT IT MYSELF....WOULD NOT BUY TRACKER AGAIN.....IF THEY WONT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY, I DONT TRUST THEM.
I think the warranty is for any haul damage, not the paint because it is something that wears out from daily use. then again I don't know how the paint came off. Is it pealing or is it from the carpet on the trailer?
I bought the same model w/115 merc. super happy. was pissed off cause the boat came with no extra's. I had to buy the cover, spare tire , and life jackets. They added NOTHING. they took my money and run, I'll never buy a boat from them again. after I spent 26k for the boat I spent another $4,400 for the extra's. Their excuse was this is such a hot Item if you don't buy it there' 10 other people that will, thank you northern Indiana bass pro...
Sorry about the bad dealer. As for my boat I love it also and it has done tournaments all year so far. The size and fishability is at one of the best price points.

Instead of wasting the original money, you should've made a better original purchase with all those upgraded amenities on the new boat. You paid as much upgrading as a better boat would've cost new with all that as original equipment.🤦
Well looking back your right if I had gotten all those upgrades. I don’t think I wasted money on this boat. For a starter boat or even a long trim one it’s a good boat. I have learned a lot about what I want and don’t need now. The best thing is I’m not upside down on it and can sale it to break even.
