It's about time I came across a real review. I purchased a 2015 Bass tracker 175 pro from Bass pro shop Katy Texas My boat completely fell apart. I sold my bass tracker in 2018 before something else fell apart.
@@labradorshalladore4966 thank you! and sorry your boat hold up. It’s not easy spending that kind of money to have it not hold up. Hopefully you found something new to keep getting out there and smashing them.
I have a 2021 tracker txw 175 and love it. Its my 5th bass boat and my first aluminum. I would buy it all over again.
That’s awesome boss! I have a trailer upgrade video you will want to see, hopefully in May when the weather is nice here in Wisconsin.
First time watching your video. Good stuff. Little tip. Watch that trailer. They use southern yellow pine wood for bunks. That stuff ROTS in no time. Your boat will be on that trailer more than in the water. I have owned 2 Tracker boats and I (like you) would trick them out only to find I had rotten trailers. Wow. Put a lot of money in the boat but thought I had a good trailer. Boy, was I wrong. I live here in south central Florida and got real upset with Tracker about their trailers. I only use it in fresh water lakes. I am not a salt water guy. Tracker people said southern pine wood bunks should hold up for a while. Yeah "for a while". I sold both rigs and bought a Ranger aluminum rig. Much heavier gauge aluminum. Of course a much bigger price. It was worth it. The quality was there and it handles big water in the wind much much better than the thin aluminum Tracker boats. And since Johnny Morris owns Ranger and Triton also, I took the trailer and had those bunks removed and pressure treated wood installed with new carpet. No regrets. There is a reason Tracker uses cheap wood for bunks. They say Missouri Law prohibits the use of pressure treated wood. Well, that was some time ago. The lumber companies has fixed the problem so now it is safe. It just costs more. Think about it. I want you to be very happy with your boat and also with your trailer. Let me know what you think.
You are 100% correct! I actually have the upgrades for the trailer. That video I’m hoping to do on a warm spring day. Think some of it you will like for your Ranger trailer as well. Thanks for watching and for your experience you have had.
I have a 2021 and I love it. Filled with tackle and Rods. Its the perfect rig got the average angler.
Yes! It checks all the boxes to get you out on the water. Their price point is great for a average angler to be able to get out and have fun
@Fillet_Release FACTS for sure
Nice boat
@@dustyparks7441 thanks bud! It’s not to special but it does get the job done
Question: Your AGM Batteries....What are you using for a battery charging system ? Just wondering i use BIG AGM's for my corvette and i have a special battery charger to charge these! ....Thanks nice vid
I have a Noco genius (GEN2) two bank charge for the AGM’s
If you were to do it again would you spend a little more on a z18 or stay with the tracker? Thx
@@Dwilhite44 I would do the Z18 just to have jack plate and shallow water anchors. The glass boats keep a hull warranty with them, where the aluminum one’s lose theirs. Plus the boxes are better to keep water out where the Tracker doesn’t at all. That would be the only reason I would go that way. Hope that helps!
You are a horrible salesman!
@@David-mn3nb I wasn’t trying to sale a boat! I was giving my thoughts and things that have happened with it. If I was making money off the sales from my videos, I would have phrased things differently but still let people know of things with the boat. At least then if someone got the boat they knew as much as possible or at least issues I had and what to watch for.
