Pretreating water with an RO system before running it through DI resin is standard practice in the salt water reefing community. Dual membrane setups are quite common. I was really surprised to find that it wasn't more common when I started getting into car detailing.
Very Nice! This is how we do it in the home soft washing industry. Our water fed poles for window cleaning go through a sediment carbon filter, RO, and then a DI canister. All we need is the pressure from the garden hose to push the system, no tanks or pumps. And let our RO waste flush into the grass or street.
I must say, that is a very professional presentation of the best equipment money can buy. I know a passionate guy when I see one. I would love to chat with you about how you would set me up as a high-end weekend warrior in my garage ? I just got a CR Spotless yesterday. Thanks for all you do, sir!!
Hi, love the set-up, congrats and I wish you much more success. I have a question I’ve tried to go onto your website to check out the product but the only thing that comes up is a user sign in.
Great question. Commercial RO’s (reverse osmosis) require higher pressure in order to do its job. House pressure or tap pressure is simply not enough. The booster pump is required.
Just out of curiosity wouldn’t a low pressure switch be more effective then a flow meter in this system to shut the pump off prior to damage? This system is mostly installed where while you are working you won’t actually be able to see the flow meter. Just curious if that’s something incorporated in this system
You can do whatever you want with the waste water. I run a line out to my customers trees and plants. Some put it in a holding tank where they later use it to pressure wash gas stations, etc.. it’s high in TDS so your a bit limited on what you can do with it.
Hello, I would like to find out more information. How can I reach? You have been watching several videos and this is all fascinating to me. I’m new in the game I know I’m nowhere near ready for that last video I just seen. If you can give me some advice that would be much appreciated.
Nice! 1. If it can be done with that type of resin? Can you have the light trigger a set of solenoids to backwash the resin to a drain? 2. Install a electric flow switch instead of a visual flow switch. To make it idiot proof. Peace.
Hey brother! Thanks for dropping some questions. Not sure I understand your first question though? Can you clarify? 2) yes the system comes with an electric float switch.
@@SpotlessWaterGuy ah! Not knowing I was thinking if I was using the pressure washer it would be ok. So you re pre-filter is lowering the pressure is what I ma guessing. I don't want to use the water tank though. Hopefully that is not needed for home use.
@@bobbystefano RO/DI systems like mine cannot be plugged directly into a pressure washer. A holding tank is required. If your looking for something that can plug directly into your pressure washer a standard DI tank would allow that but if your wanting the benefits of RO you cannot do this unfortunately.

Keep innovating Bryce. Great Job!

Heck yeah 💪
So it’s able to go through the filters and ro membrane without a booster pump?
@@robindabank8582 yes. It's low pressure but that's all we need to clean windows on a water fed pole. Just a little splash

Thank you sir! My system already comes with a deionizer but happy to chat with you! Feel free to set up a call with me on SpotlessWaterGuy.com!
Highly underrated video
Awesome upgrades!
Wow man you're the brain to this thing 💙 good for you brother 👌🏽....
Thank you so much! It’s fun.
Looks awesome with all the upgrades!👌👌👌💪👍
Thank you! 🤜
Could you please post a link for the filters you’re using on this system. Thanks

Hi Vanta thank you! The site is undergoing some maintenance. Should be back up again shortly.
@@SpotlessWaterGuy Ok, thanks for the quick reply keep up the great work
is the booster pump after the di ?

If I had you build one for garage mount, would it need the expense of that pump, or could this unit be adapted to use my water pressure?

@@SpotlessWaterGuy is it a hydrologic booster pump?
What booster pump do you use for this set up and what is your pressure output for the ro?

Where does the waste water go - do you have a separate tank to collect that - or does it just drain on the ground

I wonder if anyone in Pittsburgh has this set up

Thanks Octavio!
How is this system powered?
How many gpm can the system handle?
Depending on the model anywhere from 1-2gpm
How much does it cost brother
sorry for the dumb question, what's the pump for?
No dumb questions here. The pump increases pressure to the RO allowing it to do its job in reducing TDS (dissolved solids)
@@SpotlessWaterGuy hey thanks. If we install one of these at home do we still need the pump?
@@bobbystefano yes a pump is required for all applications mobile and stationary. Water pressure from the tap is not sufficient.

Hi Craig! Please set up a call with me on SpotlessWaterGuy.com. Thanks!
This system doesn’t need a pressure tank? If not why?
This system feeds a tank. My pressure washer pulls from the tank.
No new videos?
First!!!
I see you doubled the price
Beautiful system but definitely it's gotta be around $10 grand or more😢
Thanks! You might be surprised. It’s much less expensive than that. Feel free to reach out to me even if it’s just to learn more 👍
