Maybe when you have the yard leveled for the addition you could have a big swale put in above the dogs yard to guide the water away from your home.

Hi Mike, as a ex builder in the UK to me it looks like the ground level at the back has become slightly higher than the floor level. you need to reduce that down a few inches.
On channel 7 it showed where there was a severe thunderstorm probable flash flooding in your area earlier. I actually thought about you up there.
Not really knowing how your land runs, would trenching opposite your problem area help or is it uphill?

We bought some pond seal. 50# for 19.99 seals leaks, maybe that would work sprinkling by the foundation? It's bentonite clay.
