- Plans are in the beginning stages, but I am getting all the details planned out for a epic cabin addition.Adding a large living room and 2 bedrooms on the east side of cabin.

Since I'm 66, I don't want anymore. Have had many doggies like you. That bacon looks YUMMY! I'm making breakfast burritoe soon. I've cooked 20 pounds of bacon. Other ingredients are scrambled eggs, tator tots and lots of shredded extra sharp cheese. And the extra large flour tortillas. Love your videos!
The hall way only needs to get you past the first bedroom , the back bedroom can be the full width of the extension.

Smart move, Mike. It's good to think ahead 20 years. By then, you just might want to sell. However, I think it'd be better to pay a caregiver to live on the property and take care of things you cant do. It's a ton cheaper than paying a nursing home ($15K/month). An addition will increase your property value even more.
ITS SO GOOD TO HAVE A PLAN FOR FUTURE SPACE, YOURE STLL YOUNG & TO SELL SOMEDAY, WOULD BE ROOM FOR A SMALL FAMILY!! OUR 5 PERSON FAM OF 5 HAD 1 BATHROOM, IT IS SUFFICIENT!!❤😂

With all the computers,they can't get the weather right anymore. It wasn't supposed to rain Wednesday,so I hung my laundry out. That afternoon it rained. It was supposed to rain today,sun's out.

Greetings from Northeast Ohio. You were fortunate like me. You have a screened in porch and you have that beautiful open deck. In my backyard I have an open deck and a beautiful screened in porch. In the front of my house, I have a covered open porch with a porch swing and chairs. The back of the house is the south so it’s much warmer. When I want to sit where it’s cool, I go to the front which is the north. I feel so blessed that I have these three options. You are blessed as well.

Sounds like a good plan! Hot n muggy here in central Florida, we just had a serious thunderstorm. 90s yesterday. I took am antisocial, unfortunately, The Villages has built completely around my 1.5 acres. Have a beautiful day!
I have seen videos on the Villages. Society as a whole think that living bunched up like that is good,nothing could be further from the truth.
Interesting idea. The older I get, the less area I want to clean!! I do it in stages now. 1100 s.f. all vinyl floors. I goofed and bought the kind with pretend grout lines, so I have to vacuum it. Ugh.
Hey while you have a free moment 😅, you could build a shade cloth structure over your top deck 😄

If you built everything yourself you would have to hustle to get the roof on and the exterior on ahead of the weather. I think it's a great plan to save yourself the stress and you can work on the interior at your own pace. Maybe there is room for a second bath where your twin bed used to be, if you decide you need to add one.

Invest in a nice easy up canopy for the deck ...Not one of them cheap blue ones ...Ive got friend who did exactly that and has it secured in case of wind...Has worked out well..He got one that has the sides on it to so you can block wind from any side or enclose it if ya want...Sounds like you got a full plate moving forward....Good luck with your future projects....Stay safe, be well...P.S. You are in the 90's in Arkansas and in southern Cal we are in the very low 70's like 72 with morning fog until 1 or 2 in the afternoon...and out here it is cold and damp really!!!
