You should check out my plugin NEL. It is a vibrato (modulated delay) and its Audio Rate modulator does exactly what your keytracked erosion grid does, but with an easy workflow. Also you can easily put 2 audio rates on top of each other at different octaves (or any transposing) and then mix between them to find the best texture
