I love that adam's character in CH is basically just 'reasonable human being' it's such a good contrast to everyone weirdness its amazing
Adam plays the Token Reasonable Person in the TTRPGs I've seen him in (V:TM and Cam's Dice Friends) and he does a *stellar* job of it.
Yeah, but then he asked "Why is the Piss mug with the Ichor" like a normal question and I remember he's a part of LRR again
"Did you put beards on my unsettling gay sons?" cH Wheeler with an immediate banger line, hoo boy.
“Why is the piss mug in with the ichor?” is a spectacular line.
I wonder if Graham just puts it in the trash rather than the dishwasher.
Brand new sentence
Can we take a moment to appreciate that they got "Technically correct but deeply unsettling" on a plaque from that episode a while back?
It is actually a bit surreal to have Commodore Hustle back.
Yeah, hearing that theme again was...powerful
God starting off with a "Beards" joke is immaculate, I love Wheeler being in the CHustle canon now.
Edit: All Hail The Piss Mug
Is this a reference I’m not getting?
@@cossin281A "beard" is a fake straight partner for a gay person in events or situations they aren't out. The joke is the Mimumverate *are* out so don't need beards, at least not that kind.
@@cossin281"Beard" is old slang for the romantic partner who closeted gay person is publicly in a relationship with to publicly perform heterosexuality. Since the Mimes are out, they don't need a beard
@@cossin281In slang, a “beard” is a woman a gay man is in a relationship with, in order to make it look to the world like he’s heterosexual. Hence Wheeler saying his gay sons don’t need beards, they’re out and proud
The Piss mug was a gift, via mail time, and to my knowledge it’s just a favorite mug of Matt’s to use on streams, and now in cH!
Oh dang, Alex is gone from the opening crawl.
I'm gonna miss him being a regular. Him and Beej's antics were my favorite combo.
same
Like the credit card shopping trip 😅
@@spavatch yes, that one was one of the best
He ascended after timewalking I am pretty sure.
Look, everyone knows the ichor goes with the effluence, bilge, radioactive, and bile. When in doubt, BRIBE.
Exactly, how do they not have the Bile Barrel? Is it just not a Canadian thing to have a barrel of miscellaneous liquid wastes?
@@zfrankhauser4292I hear that in Canada, miscellaneous liquid waste comes in bags
You know, they could solve this whole problem if they just ask Paul where he disposes of his disastrously-failed and all-too-successful experiments.
So, what do we all think they used for ichor? My money's on soya sauce xD
@@cha0sniperI assumed it was soy sauce before they clarified it was ichor
I'm so glad we resolved that long running cH storyline about Wheeler and his Mime-sons which has totally always been part of cH lore
From the very beginning, in fact
He's been here the whole time@@sentientwaffle535 THE WHOLE TIME.
I’m at a loss. What is this? If you don’t mind.
@@andorrasrevenge1683 Wheeler's mime children, who have existed alongside him since the beginning of this series regardless of what anyone may say
@@sentientwaffle535I believe you, and always will from here on.
The absolute state of the Internet in 2024 that they felt the need to include the clarifying joke about how they appropriately dispose of their waste.
That opening bit felt like someone at LRR said "Wheeler, I need you to imagine you're my beloved son and my spouse just died, and only your particular brand of non-sequitur humor dialed up to 11 and then put through the mythical Greek laser mirror can offer me relief."
Involving everyone in production of a video about proper bin usage was a clever way to ensure all staff were aware of proper bin usage. Well done.
Wonder if this one pops off as viewers start sending it to coworkers..
Credits say it is written by Graham and Kathleen .. are you sugessting this episode was just a scheme of them to increase Moonbase hygiene?
More of that black oil, huh? Probably nothing.
I just have to stop and acknowledge Graham's "bin anarchy peels" before continuing.
I always experience such glee whenever the LRR Puppets appear for any amount of time. And they're even letting Bartleby play with- er, hang around with- er, exist in proximity to them.
I also identify with Beej's frustration on a deep emotional level, as someone who constantly is trying and failing to get people in the house to use the correct bins.
"That chair wasn't even here!" Cam always with the golden lines, Never Change Cam
I never found a way to articulate this feeling until now, but so much of the identity of cH is the music and transitions. Perhaps obvious to say, but it makes every era of feel like it is seamlessly part of the same thing. I just think that's really cool.
I like to think Beej used some kind of substitution jitsu on the chair to escape.
Wait, is that what the Beejdrops are? A Beej from another dimension replacing an object (humans are objects!) in this one?
I thought the paper was Beej, and either Kathleen or Graham responsible for the chair.
"That chair wasn't even here!" got me.
Me too. The cackles!
I suspect it's the same chair from the FN Universe during the London Mulligan episode that rolled in towards the end.
I'm just happy that Graham has reached a point where he's happy for an absence of fruit flies, even if it means Cam still doesn't have his specimens.
Coming back a month later to say that "befouled paper" haunts me to this day.
"Enfilthened by foodstuffs" also
Beej in a labcoat stalking people to figure out how they understand markers is hilarious.
The curtains opening so he can observe is so good 😂
My favorite line has got to be "Hey why is the piss mug with the ichor?"
My second favorite is "Unless there's active malfeasance--" "--that sounds like us!"
poor cam, he's gonna be doing the dishes by himself forever
I'm glad Pistachio is still alive, I was worried for him.
Same, thought for sure he was put into a wood chipper.
He just wants to help and everyone is so mean to himb 🥺
"We are... bad people." Got it, thanks Beej!
The Year is 2030
LRR has expanded so much everyone has 1 frame in the commodoreHUSTLE intro
the LRR number has overtaken the Bacon number for separation-based measurement
Then, one day, The Great Beejdrop happens as foretold and suddenly everyone in every intro frame is Beej.
And even with only a single frame the intro is 5 minutes long.
As someone who worked in the field of recycling for over thirty years, I'm really ambivalent about being seen, but extremely impressed by how clear-sighted you are. Thank you, you're too kind. Really.
The 'binanarchy peels' joke and Beej's subsequent reaction face is amazing. CH continues to be one of the best sitcoms I have ever watched.
1. Cam, I will GLADLY discuss dishwasher policies with you, on the provision I can drive all the way up to Victoria, BC from Phoenix, AZ with my dirty dishes to "borrow" your dishwasher.
2. I FELT Beej's pain... Deeply... in this story. DEEPLY. (Glad my city only provides ONE CAN for trash and ONE CAN for recycles and LIP SERVICE that they actually do recycle. Makes life so much easier. Too bad plastic bags and any cardboard that has ANY glossy stuff on it can't go into the recycling bin.
3. BEEJ! I don't know if anyone says this (outside of LRR management, and hopefully they say this to you at least once a week), but "Thank you for all the actual office management stuff (you know, the stuff outside of writing, acting, and producing the videos) that you do." Seriously, I've been on this rock long enough to see how several small and large businesses run, and a good office manager is essential. Loading Ready Run wouldn't be what it is without you.
I saw this on live and have rewatched it twice on UA-cam, and every single time Wheeler saying "Well technically an apple is a fruit and that was a fritter." really kills me. So glad CH is back!
watching the opening bit reminds me a lot of "You have a very interesting relationship with sincerity", I love it XD
I am still so happy that commodore hustle is back
I love that the actual misconceptions surrounding the dishwasher from that family boardgame stream made its way into cH, poor Cameron
Constantly blown away by Adam's timing and performances, always my fav parts of commodorehustle and friday nights
Wheeler's debut in the cHverse is everything I hoped it would be.
I was like "who's that guy? is that wheeler? nah, can't be" Without the beard he was unrecognisable.
@@ASpaceOstrichlike his Mime sons, Wheeler is out and doesn't need a beard
Excellent, as always. Thank you.
7:32 I waited for Beej’s bat to come up after his speech, but I think it’s threatening nature did the job well enough as is. Good stuff.
Major oversight to not name the episode Beej's receptacles
There were "mouthfeel" issues with that name
2:25 OH MY GOD THEY GOT THE PLAQUE
Props to Kathleen for the King Gizzard t-shirt.
"Sustained Panic" is a mood.
I don't understand why the opening beards bit got me so good but oh hell it did
Another banger. Nice 4th wall break, Beej.
0:50 Kathleen's reaction is 10/10. It is a cut out material for meme use.
Active malfeasance does seem on brand for this fictionalized personification of shenanigans that is y'all.
Also ichor just goes down the drain like any and all bodily fluids.
Just only a couple minutes in, and already finding the hardest thing to believe is that this form of LRR has managed such success of staffing and Moonbase upgrades. It's a major reflection just how remarkably far actual LRR has come over time!
Sorry Cam. You did it once so the dishes will forever be your problem...
So good to see that Beej has recovered completely from the Meme Beam
Grabbing the mug rather than season 1 is peek LRR comedy
Wheeler's brand of humour is just... *chef's kiss*
The dishwasher is my favorite recurring LRR character
"Yah, and you're right" was honestly an incredibly funny joke to start this thing out with.
I cant begin to describe how happy I am that this series is back!
Cameron's war with the dishwasher lives on, in yet another moon base.
Awesome episode y'all.
As a follower of some of your content (toddlers are time singularities) it's great to see Cameron and Adam appear, those guys (and their hustle characterisations) are awesome and I don't see them too often in the LRR things I sporadically watch
Hooray!
Oh hey, Pistachio the Productivity Puppet is still around.
Y'all are starting this year STRONG! 😆
I like how this episode explained what this show is better than the entirety of the other episodes (except for coffee time)
I sympathize with Cam. Why am I the only one who can load our dishwasher CORRECTLY!
Sure the line in the end credits could have been shortened to THANKS: Boomer
Cameron did remember that.
Cam is my favorite pile of rat kings in a sweater
Beej's momentary 4th wall glance is absolute gold.
2:20 my favorite part. Hits way too hard with my own living situations over the years lol
This is a beauteous episode. Kind of glad that Wheeler isn't in as a full focus? The flow was nice. On another note this Ichor showed up with my Card Kingdom order, who should I bring this up with?
“The full ones get picked up faster! I don’t want fruit flies.” I was really hoping to hear Cam off camera yell “My specimens!”
love that blinds gag
Thank you!
IAN IS MY NEW FAVORITE PERSON. GUNDAM WING IS AN UNPARALLELED MASTERPIECE.
I appreciate that Beej couldn't bring a fictionalized version of himself to recycle incorrectly. Very Canadian
I gotta remember landlords friend, thats a good one
Dunking on Season 1 really ties this to older cH
It's OK, I still have my Season 1 DVD
I'm interpreting the chair being left for Cameron as a hint that Cameron should jam the chair INTO the dishwasher to set everything straight.
I just want to give special appreciation to the scene of the blinds going up and revealing Beej. It's so simple, and so utterly absurd, that I didn't even really get that it was out of place for the first few watches.
I know doing a stream about making explosives at home is highly illegal, but if Ian ever wants to branch out into the void in my life left by the end of Mythbusters, please let me know!
I need a shirt, with a silhouette of Adam next to a bin and speech bubble that says “why is the piss mug with the ichor?”
Thinly veiled self-inserts that are canonicaly bad people.
What a line.
I feel the Beej - Graham interaction resulting in a deflated, broken Beej had great Dave and Spokesman energy. I also love Beej's breaking the 4th wall as well.
It's a relatively little thing, but I just adore the interstitial shots of just one weird moonbase thing like the plush in the dice glass, or the wheel of cheese on top of the desert bus photo albums... I think they're photo albums?
Hitting the ground running with this excellent addition to the series!
Who is the monster who keeps trying to throw out the piss mug?
"Technically correct... but deeply unsettling."
So they *did* get it on a plaque!
Im so happy that just like Hootie the Piss Mug is now here to stay
Something tells me this is a legitimate grievance Beej has.
Man, this made me feel a lot better. Great work, LRRpersons!
Should someone tell Pistachio his line is "thank you for having me, it's great to be here"
God this was a great episode, top tier all the way through and the writing sharp as a damn diamond!❤
Oh, Look! A Wheeler in a Hustle!
The chair was the first thing that popped in my head after everyone left lol
This is my favorite sitcom
It's so lovely to have Commodore Hustle episodes back :D They're always good fun
I misread this title as Beej's Sins at first, but it being bins makes a lot more sense.
Cameron was robbed of his glory, I say. His glory! Maybe the moonbase needs more oddly placed pictures of Hoban Washburne and satellite dishes...
Nice fourth wall we had there, BEEJ.
Ichor is a main ingredient of simic slaw
Every office I've ever worked at. And isn't Ichor both a poison and a magical item? I'm hoping I get to see where the LRR crew get theirs from... I"m thinking maybe James is more than he seems.
It's the blood of Greek gods. It also means a watery discharge from a wound
I guess I've always seen it in games! thanks!!! @@KynElwynn
Blown away LRR still exists. The nostalgia
Oh Cam. You do make me smile.
The two best things y'all have ever done are commodoreHUSTLE and Friday Nights. Keep it up. The Playlist for commodoreHUSTLE needs some fixes.
Last week at the update video many comments asked "hey, are we getting more cH in 2024?"
The replies "here's a deflection pointing you at the episode we did in october"
I see you.
The questions were more, “what about cH?” and “are you ever making more cH?” to which I replied that we had done it, implying the intent to continue.
@loadingreadyrun I was trying to give you credit for being clever and not giving away the game that we'd be seeing a new episode the very next week thus preserving the surprise.
Ah! Well then… thank you! 😅
