The Aston Martin DBX is the first ever SUV from the prestigious British manufacturer. It's powered by a 542bhp V8 engine and has a luxurious interior worthy of its six-figure price tag. The screen never seem to do this car justice, in the metal this is a stunning SUV, just as it should be from Aston
Rich paint thickness, High grade materials, Dynamic body lines with duck tail...
Such a SUV can only be made by British manufacturer, I think.
No touchscreen, unlike my Ford Focus. No Android Auto either. Outside, the DBX looks amazing. But when you're shelling out that much money, the poor equipment level is pretty disappointing.

I love SUVs with frameless windows
The big beef for me is if you're really going to take a Sports Car brand into the SUV market and do it right, you need to keep focus on your roots in Racing.
The success of the Ford Raptor is significantly bolstered by Ford developing and fielding that truck as a stock entry in the Baja 1000.
If Aston Martin is serious about DBX we need to see a team of these things finish the Dakar.

It's a miss for me... It's a Porsche/Mazda merged together with a dated interior.

Is it really a better than the something like Jaguar F Pace SVR. And is it worth the price difference.
That's a very good question, but likely someone considering a DBX wouldn't give the F-Pace SVR a second look. That's not to say the Jaguar isn't a fantastic performance SUV, though...
@@carbuyer I disagree. I do not think people know. In a similar analogy we are seeing people who would never buy a Corvette, arenow in the market lining up for Corvette. I just think there was a great amount of publicity to how awesome the Corvette was.
But do not see many people comparing the DBX to F Pace SVR. Maybe you could do that as one of your next vids.
DBX is more luxurious and special I'd say
@@carbuyer agreed. While the Jag SVR is certainly a good looking and sounding vehicle, with the LR Jag reliability issues it just isn't something worth the effort imo. Aston is just in a different league on this one, although I would go further and say I'd like a V12 in the DBX. It's the classic Aston sound after all (!).
Don't know what it is, u guys have lost ur momentum somehow...even an Aston Martin has garnered so less views... usually luxury cars have the highest in any car review channel...hope u guys do something to make this channel more interesting to watch ❤️

Why no rear window wiper , on a SUV ?
Aston should get a refund from Mercedes. Forget MBUX, there are newer systems in the new S Class and the EQS. This is an Aston - I want to be vowed, instead they’ve given us a system bettered by the A Class, a glorified hatchback. UNBELIEVABLE.
The infotainment certainly isn't the DBX's strong point. Maybe we'll see a big upgrade when the car is facelifted in a few years?

The Arial font they decided to use on their screens is so generic. Feels like they bought some parts from China and didn't bother customising it.
Hot Take: What we needed was a regular production Shooting Break, not an SUV.
Think we will be seeing these on the road ..if I had the money I would buy one
Why not buy a modern Mercedes like an EQC Instead of wasting your money on a last century power ICE car .You could invest your money for a couple of years, and get the same suv from Aston Martin in 2025 as a hybrid or in 2030 as the full electric version. I just saw the review today on the late brake show maybe you could also consider the New Porsche Cross Turismo EV’s.

The outside looks so cool but inside gadget/gear wise the aston martin brand doesn't live up to the hype. I hate that

Headrests seem too low? It's a welcome addition to the luxury SUV market, but will it be enough to save the company? The will have to sell an awful lot of DBXs just to recoup the money they are wasting on Formula 1....

Nissan Juke, that’s what it reminds me of! Just a little prettier. But not so much.
Unbelievable that this is an Aston Martin.
Loved the exterior design overall, except for the front bumber daylight lamps, they need to change the shape of it, give it a sharper aggressive look which would compliment the car's overall sporty design. Hate the interior central console & display, simply for the fact that it's borrowed from AMG and is dated. Such a shame for an otherwise beautiful car. And lastly, would love to see a more powerful engine which would do justice to the car's overall design, which is screaming "Powerful, Fast & Sexy" all the way. Do all that and you get the best selling SUV in it's range in the market. Waiting for the next improved version, with all the much needed changes in the hopes of owning one myself. But for now, it's a thumbs down. 👎 Sorry Aston Martin. 🙁

Ok that touch screen is from like 2010 so behind honestly so so behind Lexus and Acura same thing their technology look like from 2015 this is ugliest screen I ever seen honestly so so so ugly unacceptable I bought after market head unit had every single option was android system wifi watch UA-cam movies cameras HD screen 7 inch they even have like 10 inch and 13 inch screens that fit certain cars made for them for so cheap so I’m not sure why these car companies don’t do it it costs them nothing if I can buy best screen for 500$ these car companies can get it cheaper like seriously a lot of cars over 50k have screens that you can buy after market for 30$ it’s ridiculous and when i see luxury cars expensive like this makes me even more crazy to see that I can’t even watch the video there is no excuse to have that garbage screen I still don’t get it what’s the reason ? Technology is available for so cheap
