I never knew that during most of my marriage I was in "Survival Mode" until I started listening to Derricks' videos last year, which explained everything I had been dealing with through the years. I realized at that moment I was with a grown child who had NEVER been accountable ... Bare minimum at best !! Save yourself the heartbreak now that you know and move on because eventually you will see everything Derrick is speaking about come to pass. I wish I had this information years ago but "better late than never" I always say. At least now I know!!! I just wish more men would listen to you and take heed!! Its not just survival. The foundation within her was solid and now it has been destroyed. The reparations and the cost it takes to renew that foundation doesn’t even look the same. Now we need to if we choose to adopt and adapt within a structure that is completely different. That takes time. The memories that were made and built on the previous foundation feel lost. He criticized me while I was in survival mode. He watched me work, struggle, breakdown, lose everything, and criticized. Everything was my fault, can't do anything right. When someone hit me with a car and I was in a bad car accident he still criticized, told me I had done something to deserve it. He never helps but claim he does. He claims he's not criticizing its facts😔 but he wants access to my time and body.

N now his phones disappearing n hes sneaky but all i wanted was him. Not his $ nof his status... he started hitting me but my whole family is damn near dwad n now im just stck n he says im the problem..... jyat wanna let go but im not ready i wanna help.... but i dont matter nemore.
