Don’t let people you that he “managed his tires better.” Thats bs. Bottas was 2 seconds behind and lost his tires literally a few moments before Lewis. This was PURE luck. He won the title in 2008 because Glock handed it to him on a silver platter. It's annoying to watch sometimes now but looking back on this era of Merc domination will be amazing.

Akmal Ibrahim I watched the first 10 laps woke awake. Then napped laps 11- 47 only to be woken up by the commentator and my mom who was watching. Once Valterri tyre popped I got excited and then my satellite lost connection.😤 Was so mad because everything was starting to unfold and just had breakfast. It connected back when they were giving trophies and I was so disappointed that Valterri somehow managed only 11 while Lewis got 1st. Champion hopes gone in the blink of an eye 😪.

Akmal Ibrahim I watched the first 10 laps woke awake. Then napped laps 11- 47 only to be woken up by the commentator and my mom who was watching. Once Valterri tyre popped I got excited and then my satellite lost connection.😤 Was so mad because everything was starting to unfold and just had breakfast. It connected back when they were giving trophies and I was so disappointed that Valterri somehow managed only 11 while Lewis got 1st. Champion hopes gone in the blink of an eye 😪.

Agreed he had a bit of luck but he was racing hard against the McLarens all race, doing very well. One more lap he may have had caught Leclerc, or if Hamilton’s Tyre had gone one lap earlier, he would be standing on the podium. Remarkable race all round.
