Great review. For Mo, I feel like you focused a on the geometry specs, which is helpful for sure, but it would be nice to also get more of your observation on how it climbs, descends, how it feels in general. Great job!
If you want a more nimble big travel bike look at a Pivot Firebird and size down one frame size, though I suspect you've probably already ridden one. The Firebird is the best pedaling bike I've ever ridden, very efficient for its travel and it gets through pedally tech and tech climbs better than anything else I've tried. My only complaints were the vague steering feel, a trait it shares with the Ripmo (and you guys obviously know how the Ripmo rides). I ended up getting a RM Altitude over the Firebird last year mostly due to availability but also the Altitude when pointed downhill turns into an absolute weapon and still climbs well.
I just ordered a Capra Uncaged 10. I’m glad someone told me about their bikes running smaller. I ended up getting the next size up XL. Their xl specs were the same as my Large Transition Scout so that is a bit weird. Did you end up sizing up?
What’s your opinion of the direct to consumer companies? And so far, which is your favorite of the them? Looking at getting a full suspension mtb. Thanks
awesome video guys! i have the older gen jeffsy, i love it for an all around bike. the only thing i dont like about yt is the california sales tax and shipping. both come out to around $280-$300 extra while most places offer free shipping no tax. thats what keeps me from getting another yt.
@@itr0863 I thought you meant states. I paid the Idaho sales tax rate on my Jeffsy. I was under the impression you pay the sales tax of the state you live in. Just put a bike in the cart on Jenson and it was $85 for shipping.
Great video. I have both those bikes, 2024 Jeffsy amazing playful bike and great climber. That Capra I have in the exact MX mullet build ( bike park and shuttle only) too slack to climb well, although the 29er Capra does climb much better, I still only used that bike for OC steeps when not on the Decoy. And Mo, I had the IZZO for about 18 months and it was amazing, but I think were opposites in riding, I love jumping and chutes, the IZZO shines on climbs, speed and tech down country riding.
Core 2 Izzy or jeffsy for primarily Florida riding? Jeffsy is enduro but I’m trying to stay away from the nx transmission. I think the Izzy frame is better for Florida. Ugh.
Love you guys and love that you are testing a bunch of bikes this year. Just a suggestion- For the first test ride, use the bike as built by the factory. I am eager to see what you think of the Pivot Firebird with the Fox shock. (Seems like more of a fair test) Looking forward to all your future fun videos!
3 of your recent bikes are on my short list, but haven't been able to ride them all yet. I'm an XL too. How would you rank and/or compare the Ripmo vs Delano Peak vs Jeffsy? Does the Jeffsy feel bigger than Delano or about the same? A comparison video of the three would be perfect, especially on how they rode, your personal experience.
Coming soon!! I would say Jeffsy is more of a dh trail bike where delan peak is more of a real trail bike that can handle enduro! Both are awesome on their own ways!
Very nice review. Thank you. You mentioned you are 6’2. And looks like the size of your ride is XL. Do you feel comfortable? I’m 6’2 too and about to order Jeffsey Core 1 and thinking if I should get L or XL
I'm 6'4 and I ride a capra in xl and it feels great, maybe a little small but In a more snappy playful way. I never feel like I'm going over the bars or anything.
Why wouldn't they still be good? I can't stand the new trend of "WhyThese Suck?" titles and then the video basically says "SIKE. THEY DON'T SUCK!". So click baity.
There is a ding-dong on here all his videos are does it suck. If he likes the trail he just says it doesn't suck.... 🙄 It was almost funny once he does it every time.
I have a Jeffsy core2 2023, I kind of hate it, the trails around me are technical climbers and it just sucks at it! Maybe I need a tire that's better rolling ?
I had a 2023 Jeffsy and hated it. Had it for about 3 months before I sold it and bought an Ibis. The jeffsy had a new creak or noise every ride. So frustrating
Like your reviews of different bikes. I'm 6'2" and run a mullet (Foes Mixer). Absolutely love it. 160 (F) 165 (R).climbs like a goat and great on the downhills. Running a ZEB 38 upfront and a fox x2 coil on the rear.
@@leroywilliams7210 worth paying for a new tcu and Ecu map. The tundra is a better truck but sometimes people can’t drive something that big or can’t fit it in garage.
Just got a Capra Core 2, it arrives sometime next week. There's also pickle ball at my local bike park and I live in a village in Guatemala 🤯
I’ve owned the Jeffsey and now own the Capra core 2 mx!! Pretty big difference in thought and love the capra!

Hey! We only had one ride on these so it was not enough time for a proper full review! Hopefully in the future!
Great job! Love watching your reviews.
Thanks so much!!!

The craziest thing is we’re pretty sure all the bike you mentioned are getting updates this year too!! Going to be a rad year of mountain biking!!!
I just ordered a Capra Uncaged 10.

Love the Yellow!! i had a on one 456 steel HT in Bright Yellow years ago cracked the frame..
Such a classic!
Interesting tht you felt XL was more on the smaller side. Multiple other tall testers, even up to 6'3, preferred the L frame for being more agile.
It's all about the geo. The XL yt Jeffsy kinda measures out to most larges. I'm 6'2 and I'm thinking about getting the Jeffsy because of the geo

Tax & shipping to Idaho was $320 for me. Where would you not have sales tax?
from the top of my head: n1 bikes and jensonusa to name a few were free shipping/no tax because i was in the market for a ripley@@huntstyle

Very cool! The Izzo looks amazing!!!
Hey, Im trying to decide which jeffsy should I pick, L or XL. Im 6’1 and you said youre 6’2, so I would like to know what size are u riding.
They're better than ever!
Awesome bikes!
Would love an Izzo. On my list of potential bikes for sure.
That Izzo looks so good!!!!
I have the Izzo and it is an amazing bike if you value pedalling efficiency and climbing.
i would really like to see a review of the Commencal T.EM.P.O. no true reveiws onlines
We will try!
What size are you riding at 6’2?
XL!
Try Commencal TEMPO , if its possible an Öhlins edition ( i have the yellow one)
Need to try one!!!
Core 2 Izzy or jeffsy for primarily Florida riding? Jeffsy is enduro but I’m trying to stay away from the nx transmission. I think the Izzy frame is better for Florida. Ugh.
I would def recommend the Izzo, it’s going to be the most fun for Florida. Jeffsy would feel overbiked
such good value. I ride a 2020 capra. Just picked up a new Tues and loving it
That’s awesome!

Hi guys, would you recommend a trail bike like the Izzo Core 3 or an All-Mountain like the Jeffsy Core 3 for a beginner? Thank you!
Get a hard tail for beginner
Start on a better hard tail to get the basics. Nobody needs to start on a 4K bike
I wish you guys would switch to DVO if you guys are allowed to do it on your demo.
We only had 2 hours so we couldn’t! 😂

Yes!!
I would like to see you review the new Trek Fuel EX and Slash.
That would be rad!
how tall is hannah, cus im thinking about getting a medium
Jeffsy or izzo ? What is the better of the 2 ?

Tires make a huge difference! Have you tried something faster rolling?

So interesting!!
What size frame yt is that
I’m 5’8 and I’m in the middle on yt chart I can ride a M but also a L but idk what to get
Mo is on a XL and Hannah is on a Medium!!
YT recommends mullet/MX for park and 29er for trail or enduro. and definitely the capra core 3 2023 has better specs
Yeah it was a bummer that was the only one available in a medium that day! Definitely not the right tool for that job!
Would be awesome to see you guys try the new Scott Ransom! Keep up the good work.
That would be so fun!!! Thank you!!!
The world yearns for Mullet Mo!
😂😂😂
can you test Transition sentinel carbon?
Get the Raptor ❤
Love my Carpa!
Awesome!!!
Waiting for the new switchblade review!
It’s coming soon!
pivot or yt? moe hannah? thoughts
If money wasn’t a factor probably Pivot for us but both are awesome!
Totally depends on what you're riding imo. Hannah was for sure right. Capra is def a heavier more sledy type bike.
Review a revel bike! New Rascal or rail are awesome 😎
It looks awesome!!!

Transition sentinel!
That would be a fun one to try out!!!

Demo a Canyon Spectral.

uh-SEE-jee.

GET THE FRIKIN RAPTOR R MO!!!
Can you test a santa cruz bike?

Get a Tacoma.

Looks so rad!!!
Guess what you're NOT going to get
hahahah!

Dont do it on the ford truck 😂 stick to the Toyota. Ask me how I know 😢
no YT 4 me I am 205 cm tall
Yeah the reach is pretty short for 6’8!
Is it short for 195 cm? Trying to find a good guide for measurements and buy my first mtb
Great Video. But watching you guys climb hurts me really bad 😬
Get a Tacoma. Ford trucks are trash.
Tacoma or tundra?
Always Tacoma
Only people who can’t afford Tundras have Tacomas.
Tacoma gets same MPG as a 1/2 ton truck with less space and capability
@@leroywilliams7210 worth paying for a new tcu and Ecu map. The tundra is a better truck but sometimes people can’t drive something that big or can’t fit it in garage.
Not really sure how this was a review. Literally just some low T dude goobering around with his girl like some sort of diary video. Tf?
