So far so good with this pattern. The written instructions are very clear and simple to follow. I reccomend it for anyone who needs to see things on paper. The instructions are just like shown here in the videos, style and all. Great work, Bev! I can't wait to finish my cardigan.
Thank you so much! ☺️

Tysm! This is much needed lol
I love how Bev is trying to reply to the comments it’s so sweet! 😊
As a left handed crocheter I have to say this is one of the easiest right handed patterns to follow while still crocheting left handed. I just finished the first row and it took a little work to figure some things out but overall it's deffinetly pretty easy to follow. I'll see if that changes as I get further though😂
I had many troubles with your video (sorry Bev) luckily buying the pattern clears many things.
Thank you very much
Just purchased the pattern successfully. WooHoo!!!
Yay, thank you!🫶🏻
Incredible 😊❤
Oh my god, you're literally an angel and a hero, this is unbelievable amazing !! Thank you so much 💜💜💜💜✨
Wow, thank you! 🫶🏻☺️
I've been waiting for this! Thank you so much bev 🥰💜
You are so welcome! 🤩💟
I'm so excited for this!!! I'm going to try and find the right colour today and hope to finish it before the movie première! Thank you ❤
Hope you enjoy it! 💟
How did it go? Did you finish it?
Your hard work is much appreciated, thank you!☺I'm making mine only as a Red version, and in some lighting the yarn I'm using (Caron Simply Soft- Autumn Red) makes it look like the scarf!! I can't wait to finish it
Wonderful! ☺️
Thank you so much for your hardwork! I'm gonna make this after I've decided what color I want to make it with, haha. Have a good day, Bev!
Thank you! You too! 🫶🏻
omg what color did you end up choosing?!?!?!! i can't pick
@@babiewaffles4026 I think dark red would be amazing, but I also like the basic beige 😭 Maybe I would make more than one lol
❤
Ahhh thank you so much for the pattern that I screamed in joy!
I'm extremly enthusiastic that I could make it, as I am a Speak Now girlie 💜
You are so welcome! Enjoy making your cardigan ✨🤩
💜❤️💜

Hi Bev ! Do you know what should be the lenght of the back panel in the size xs/s ? Thank you !
Hello, I love your video
hi.. may I know how many cm for back pannel in size xs-s ? I just try to make fdc, and my backpannel was about 49cm.. am I in the right track ? thanks
This pattern looks sick. Do you know how many skeins of yarn you used? I think I'm going to make this for my mom :)
Im making a 1989 version! (I know it doesn’t exist but I want to make my own)
It existing 🩵🤍 i will love to see your version 🤩✨
Now it exists lol I want to make it to as I don't have enough money to buy it lol

Hi bev! Is it okay to use Medium 4 yarn then adjust the hook size number into 5mm? Thank you!
I'm sure it'll be fine thr stitched may just be abit looser
@Ellarf that's what I'm thinking about 😰 I can't find any acrylic yarn with DK yarn weight, so I guess I'll just buy the Medium 4 yarn weight and adjust the hook size into 5mm and the stitches of the cardigan 😪 btw, thank you so much! 💖
You can try to match the gauge
@CROCHETBYBEV yes I'll do that too. Thank you bev! 🥰💜

Hi what can I do instead of a foundation row please
you can probably just chain the right number and dc along it but it's going to take longer. also you'd need to make the chain really loose so the piece doesn't bow out at the top
Hey, I wanted to know which one is an easier pattern to follow for a beginner? This one or the white and black one who posted before?
I can say this one, I’ve shown mostly the parts where there are decreases, and there’s also a written guide pattern that you can refer.
The white one is more simplier pattern but there’s part that beginners are confused 😅
I think thr white is simpler to follow but the right panel can be quite difficult because of the decreases I can tag you in a tutorial for it on tiktok if you want
can't access tiktok in my country :( any youtube link? @@Ellarf
okayyy, thanks for replying! I am yet to decide but thanks for the making both the videos :)))

What’s the difference to the folklore cardigan? Aside from the colour of course
It’s different cable styles
@@CROCHETBYBEV thank you!
what exact yarn did you use? brand/color/etc. :)
It is a local brand name Manor Jasmine it’s light worsted/DK weight acrylic yarn
Can we use cotton yarn 🧶 ?
Yes you can but it will be too heavy
Hello! how many grams did you use? thank you!
You can see in the video
thank you for the tutorial! i'd really love to crochet it but i've never done it before. how manageable is it for beginners?
You can do it! As long as you know already the basic stitches and of course a lott of patience to follow the tutorials coz it’s long 😉😊
I couldn't follow pattern as I have no idea in which stitch we need to insert the hook
is the pattern same with the white one you made before?
No it’s different cable style
Thanks Bev! Will order my yarns asap ❤🎉
Is this any different from your old one?
Yeah it's a different cable pattern
How much yarn for the whole thing?
Its in the video 😉 part 1
@@CROCHETBYBEV really? I just watched it but didn't notice it.
01:15
what size hook did you use? (:
I wish the creator showed more of their work frim the front on the camera. As a beginner trying to follow along and not seeing where in the RS of the cardigan is hard. Pattern doesn’t not offer picture guidance either. Not a starter project in my opinion. Could not get passed the 3rd row.,
,
This is definitely not for a beginner. It's also harder to follow because she use darker yarn in the video.
But I think this video is great! She actually explain every steps clearly. I just have problem in the beginning because I can't see where she put the stitches for the cable (again, because of the dark yarn 😅) but after understanding how the cable stitch works (by repeating and slowing the video again and again lol), it's getting easier to follow along 😊
Yes when you already passed the 4th row it’s super easy I would say 😄
Sorry, but you said in the tenth grade that you would make an x-shape, but when I started in the eleventh grade, I noticed that you finished the tenth row normally, without stitching an x-shape.
Doing this with alpaca has proven quite difficult but I'm making my way through and picking up speed 🫶
