Maybe your tension is too tight?
Maybe try changing hook size
I love the cardigan. I finally finished crocheting the panels. Now I just need to sew all the panels together, crochet the ribbing and attach buttons. I’m considering adding pockets because…pockets. Pockets are useful and convenient. 😅 I just need to figure out what kind of fabric and how to attach…I’ve an idea of how to do so, maybe.

Is it about the hook size? Because I just realized you had used 6.5 mm, but mine was 5.0 mm.

Hi dear, I am starting this pattern but when I use my 6.5 mm hook for 12 chains it should be 3.5 inches long. If I use same hook for all sweater it should very big. So what should I do? Should I go with chains using by small hook aur should I go with inches by using 6.5 hook

can i use milk cotton 5ply ?
I’m using Hobby Lobby Crafter’s Secret Big Idea (cobolt blue) so it’s hard to see the stitches. I got fed up with the whole back loop front loop switch-a-roo so I switched stitches to 2 dc same stitch. Guess I couldn’t trust the process enough to stick with the stitch pattern in this video 😂

Can I use another type of yarn (i.e. acrylic) to make this? It's the only yarn I have and I want to make a dent in my yarn stash
I wouldn't recommend acrylic yarn because acrylic stretches way too much . People recommend a yarn that has at least some percent of cotton , but if you're gonna use acrylic anyways just have in mind that it will stretch out over time :)

Hi miss chenda, i have a question. How did you make the cardigan longer and wider if you used 12 chains only? I dont get it..i'm looking forward to your response mam.
She’s working the ribbing and the back panel first.
The 12 chains yields 20 inches of ribbing. Size L and XL usually measures 16-24 inches.
Next she works the panel up to the desired LENGTH of the cardigan.
This is how you turn 12 chains into whatever size cardigan you want.
