    Leonard picked the wrong guy to start a comeback with and he's 40! Great boxers all have a problem with staying retired.

    • @DanielSong39
      @DanielSong39 11 місяців тому +1

      He probably picked the right guy because it more more likely that Camacho would dance with him for 12 rounds and try to tap his way to a decision
      But even a light-hitting pro boxer is still a pro boxer and in this fight Leonard took a savage beating

      @@DanielSong39 Yo Camacho was that dude! He didn't knock out guys on the regular but hell trash you for 12 rounds. The man was a champion in three differentweight classed. Not alot of guys can say that. He's also didn't duck fights. He's one of my favorites and is in my top ten in welterweights. I hate how boxing fans just shrug him off like he wasn't great just because no one liked him. He had mad swag and that rubbed everyone the wrong. If he was the same caliber boxer today he would be just as popular as Connor McGregor. Rip camacho!

      Who cares what that bitter, sore loser does. I lost every ounce of respect I had for Hagler after he whined and cried after losing to Sugar Ray. A true champ doesn't make excuses and cry foul in defeat. You should be ashamed too for still carrying a torch for such a pitiful sportsman. You're just a Leonard hater who's watching this for no other reason than to relish in seeing a man well past his prime and shadow of his former self get beaten up. Shameful....

    Sugar Ray Leonard was at full strength before his first fight with Hearns.
    After this fight the retina detached from his eye and he withdrew and returned at an ups and downs pace and in many fights the judges eased him when he didn't deserve it.
    e.g. in the clash with Marvin Hagler who was about to go down in the last round and you could see Hagler's superiority and the judges let Leonard win when he didn't deserve it; or in the second clash with Hearns who had been knocked down 2 times and Leonard was trailing by 3 points and the judges decreed an undeserved draw.
    So in this fight he deservedly lost and proved he wasn't up to it!

    watching Ray vs. Duran full match,both are mostly brawling,they have their feet mostly when they throw shots planted right in front of their opponent,they usually throw shots with the same patterns,they use angles but they aren't complex, a lot of times instead of using defense they brawl,they look hesitant a lot as unsure.
    they also use more energy in 80s becoming very sloppy just brawling alot,clintching alot and brawling while clinching a lot
    unlike the 80s where they mostly using one angle to brawl
    Ray here fixed those things uses more angles and is more patient and fights smarter he is more advanced how exactly is a younger as I described how they fought in 80s better?
