- A few new bags are coming out from Maxpedition, and this one has become my everyday carry & work bag. This is the Maxpedition Cross Body Bag (large size). As per other Maxpedition bags, this one is well-made, excellent construction, and the main question is if it fits your needs. I’m a 5’3, 23 year old woman who is currently in University and I use one of Maxpedition’s entity line backpacks and it is the most useful backpack I’ve had. I carry two laptops and very large textbooks regularly and it has yet to show any signs of breaking. Thanks for the review. It made me chuckle a bit that you mentioned the SOG baton being a bit heavier than you'd like right after removing a large, full size bible.
I like Maxpedition products! They do seem to have very high quality products. I have several different types of there bags and like them all!
I have the large Entity messenger and the AGR Skyvale messenger. I love the Skyvale in terms of organization although I had to buy a water bottle pouch for it. The Entity is ok but I haven’t warned up to it. I have over 15 Legacy backpacks and Gearslingers and I prefer them over the new Maxpedition lines. Give me a Sitka or Kodiak any day.
My first time to this channel, great vid and I like the bag a lot. I was laughing all the way through though because in the UK you would get arrested for carrying most of that gear. 👍🏽

Hi Tim! Love your videos, thanks for your work. I’m trying to decide between the large and small crossbody. I’m a small petite female, but also the busy mother of 2 school kids. I’ve saved my pennies for an entity bag because Maxpedition have been the best bags for me hands down. I will use this as a mom/EDC bag from Home to work and I’m not hauling laptops at all. Morgan over At Rogue preparedness suggests a small, which is what I’m learning toward. Your thoughts? I like storage and organization, but concerned this will be too big.
Hey Shelly - thanks for the comments. My wife doesn't carry either of these, but size-wise, she carried the equivalent to small. We have 2 kids 9 and 5, so she has lots of 'family items' in the bag for sure. The main reason I have used the large is for the laptop capacity but if I wasn't using that, the smaller one would be the one I'd use.

EverydayTacticalVids for sure! I’ve had vanquest 5.11 and maxpedition. Hands down maxpedition are my favorite! And I love the grey look, much more appropriate than looking super tactical at the park!

Water-resistant - like it won't get soaked from walking in the rain a little bit.

Great video again! Would you think this messenger bag would be better than the other one you showed; the Envoy 17 or is it just a personal preference. What is the size of your laptop; I know the envoy 17 will fit a 17 inch laptop, not sure about this one?

This one won't fit a 17 - a 13 is tight.
