I enjoyed the vid and i would definitely use this as a daily bag. I like that it's compact, visible orange lined pockets. I do agree with other viewers and would rather see more zippers vs velcro. For me it's just the quite factor. No need for everyone to hear you open a pocket or bring attention to yourself while commuting. Other then that, i like the look and size of the bag. My last purchase was the 511 tactical rush delivery bag and i have enjoyed using that bag for the past 3-4 years. Enjoyed the review👍 thx Tim
I like this bag, but I don’t like all the Velcro. Wish Vanquest used more zippers & magnetic closures. Also, I wish they’d include a patch to cover up that big morale patch field, for a cleaner look. Not everyone is into patches.
As much as the whole low profile look is nice the issue i take is the same as yours too much velcro I personally think velcro makes the bags look cheap cause the way i see it is if they want nearly 200$ for a bag then proceed to use mostly velcro it just looks like alot of corners cut. Plus Vanquest has had a questionable past cause they started out pretty much pulling an amazon basics which was outright copying designs from other companies damn near to tee.
It looks like your video has the incorrect measurements for the gopher 12. Here are the correct ones: Exterior Size: 11" (H) x 15" (W) x 6" (D). Was that the gopher 12 that you had on you later in the video?
I like your reviews, because you obviously use the things you review until you found out the pros and cons and not cramp it full of some stuff and show it off. I'm not sure if I got that right: It will fit a 15" Laptop, but even the 13" is to big for the actual Laptop-Compartment? And for getting a idea about the size, may I ask how tall you are?
as a field engineer i used an army surplus paratrooper officers bag in OD color which has multiple pockets and gear holders and cost $50 new... much better design and built for abuse...
