Quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-cam chefs. I love Mexican food (especially fajitas), and I love bbq. You bring those together beautifully. Those look incredible! 🤤👍
ive been watching this guy all night, and honestly...hes the bob ross of mexican food. im never gonna take direction from anyone else about mexican food ever again, i officially only care about what you have to say Arnie. ❤
America is pure awesomeness! So many people with different cultures and different methods of cooking. Taco night is a family favorite in our house, and I will be adding these recipes into my cooking.
Im born and raised in texas and my family is from Tamaulipas, these videos coming from someone in the 956 where my Tio lives is super refreshing. Keep up the great content Arnie, puro tejano 💪🏼
¡Gracias hermano! For Cinco de Mayo I did 3 types of tacos. Al pastor, pollo asado, and carne asada. I can never get the carne asada how it should be but thanks to you now I know! I do too much, it doesn’t need a marinade like Al pastor. Just good meat, good salsa, and good care. Looks like I’m going to the carniceria again!
Thank you, Arnie, for teaching me so much about preparing the classic Mexican food I grew up eating in California. Arnie is so smooth that these recipes are a breeze to understand and prepare. My Mexican food game has skyrocketed dramatically and I owe it all to ArnieTex. Gracias, amigo.
Great video! Glad to see a chef not put so much pressure on the exactness of the technique, or the precise sourcing of the ingredients. I understand the importance of those aspects, but at the end of the day, as long as you enjoy what you cook, right? Thanks Arnie! Will be sticking around your videos for a good long while!
Im slowly learning through these videos a little more about my culture through food. My moms family are all from the valley, but i grew up in indiana. My mom couldnt cook, so i never got to learn any of this as a kid. Now just to work on learning spanish. 😅
You remind me of my tio fernando he was always into bbq he would always be cooking something even the simplest thing he would make with so much flavor i miss his cooking and his charisma
As a white guy whose had a bunch of Mexican friends when I was younger. Man did I eat good when I was over there. I love their food/culture! some of the nicest and hard working people you'll ever meet. There was a local barborshop near my house that I would go to and they'd cut my hair for free because I was 13 and poor. God bless 🙌
Me mude de Puerto Rico a Arizona y esto de los tacos para mi es un mundo nuevo, ahora ya veo como me puedo poner Gordo de verduras. Thank you much por compartir.🙏🏼
I had lived in Live Oak, FL, and my (then living) sweetie and I used to visit an Anglo friend of hers married to a Mexican. Anyway, they got visited on occasion by a taquero traveling in a white van whose wife had made corn tortillas by hand, and they made either carne asada de res or carne asada de puerco, with red sauce, chopped onions and chopped cilantro. They sold 'em 3 for $5. And those tacos were fantastic!
I am a new subscriber to your channel. I have been in Mexico at least 40 times. I am a UA-cam chef too! I love Mexican Tacos you have created. This is all magic, great job.
Arnie is the food OG. Wife and I love his recipes and now I’m ready for Carne Asada street tacos Arnie style. See how they are flour style over corn. I’m team corn myself lol. Thanks Arnie for another great video
Arnie and his mom have helped me reconnect with my Mexican roots when it comes to making food , I remember my nana showing me how to make these things. However I have lost a lot of knowledge . Arnie I want to thank you and your mom for helping me get back to the true magic behind making Mexican style food !!!
Oh, Man, the griddle roasted veggies absolutely make the salsa. Medium cooked meat, perfect. This daddy loves plenty of salsa, (no raw onions for me, please) and Mom’s bonus sugar too. I add a little shredded cheese and avocado. Oooooo, it’s so good.
Arnie I absolutely love your videos. Everything about them. You flow very well too with your speech and what you are doing. Keep up the youtube grind I love food like this !!
I'm from central Texas but it's clear south Texas culture has bled up here because this sounds like many a taco I've had. Please keep what your doing and teaching us the way :) Actually, your just speaking to my heart right now.
Just got back from El Paso (live in KC), and I NEEDED THIS! That salsa looks wicked....gonna try it tomorrow! Gonna throw the steak on my smoker though. Thanks!!!

I like using a cleaver knife to chop the meat when I’m making tacos. Not necessary, but it gives it that vibe that street taqueros have.
