9:56 Be mindful when reinstalling the ignition switch. It’s actually pretty fragile. My salvage R1 had a misfire when I got it running and it was a big headache to figure out that the ignition switch was the cause. The contacts inside of the switch are quick to go out of alignment in an accident. Just a heads up if you have the same issue whenever you get to firing this up and potentially have the same issue! Good work man!!

Great video!!!👏But your wiring is "no-bueno!" Try the solder butt connecters with a quality heat shrink. Best connection if you aren't going to solder your connections. Any pressure or snagging and those "twisted wire in butt connecter" connections will come right apart. Cheers!✌

Ill be honest. The bells have nothing to do with the previous owner being alive and well. The Lord watched over him and kept him safe. Its wise to not put your beliefs and trust in things of this world. Rather point them to Jesus! Me too, im glad !
The box next to the dash I believe is the suspension control unit or SCU. If you do have to get a new dash you have to get one specific to the R1M. There is software in the dash that controls electronic suspension.
There are some people that do restorations of carbon fiber parts. There was this one time when @thestradman lost a piece of his carbon fiber wing and he git it restored. Maybe you can send the damaged fairings over to them and get them fixed. And still waiting on the update of the bmw. Love your videos, keep up the good work brother❤️
After hosing down those electronics, take the air compressor blow gun to the bike and get all of the moisture off. Use dielectric grease on all the connections as you go through them.
