Amen on swathes of people not understanding how episodic television works! It flabbergasts me! I don’t care how anyone feels about the show subjectively, love it or hate it, but the brain worms regarding simple stuff like posing questions and mysteries that are set up to be answered later is insane to me. People did the same crap with Fallout, one of the best shows of the year, never taking into consideration that depictions of things from an unreliable perspective and narrative setup are meant to make you ask questions.
Okay for clarification in the clone wars show mundi had the clones use flamethrowers to help his clones get through a path with airborne insect aliens but I did always think he was kinda iffy
Love the D&D talk. I'm paraphrasing but at 33:11 Anthony said that Wizards was likely making a lot of these improvements to encourage people to stop starting games at level 3 because they'd be missing out on 2 levels of gameplay. Um actually, Crawford and Perkins have said that the changes to the rules, specifically making all subclasses start at level 3, is because they want veteran players to start campaigns at level 3 when things start popping off, and that the first two levels are only really introductory for players new to the game. This doesn't directly combat what Anthony said but its just further clarification that they want the first two levels to have more to do for new players specifically.
I wasn't terribly excited for The Acolyte so I haven't even started watching it because I'm fine with waiting until all the episodes are out so I can just binge them all. For me, It's so much more entertaining to do it that way so I don't get disappointed with speculations I hear throughout the week until the next episode, not to mention having to wait a week between eps.
"The Empire Strips Back" I have not attended this event, but when they came through my city, it was about the only ad I got for about a month. ✅ Themed Event ✅ Star Wars + Burlesque ✅ Sexy in a Weird & Silly Way ❌ In or near LA (Currently)
Beg to disagree, and I am in no way nostalgic for any particular Star Wars - except Rogue One, that ruled - but the writing on Acolyte so far has been not good imo. It has gone from bland to bad. I really thought the lead actress would be great for this, but she has not hit for me at all. They have contradicted their own internal story logic twice that I caught, and I have zero idea what this story wants me to know so far. It’s not about paying things off for me, I and I 💯 with the ‘let them cook’ viewpoint. It’s about bad writing. I wish it weren’t.
July will no longer be the birth of America but that we celebrate the birth of Pixel Pop UA-cam Channel

CIRCLE OF THE SEA!!! My water genasi druid sailor is cheering
Oh, it's Tim and Gia's Wedding that you guys are going to! That definitely makes the loss of an episode on Friday hurt less!
