It's baffling that they think women can't do war cause the stress is too much. Or it doesn't fit into the "lore" OR that it doesn't make sense to put military gear on female bodies. In the game Battlefield 1, there's the option to play as a woman in multiplayer. There's also a campaign mission where you play as an Arab woman during WW1 helping British Intelligence. Cause Women can handle war. they can wear military gear. Oh, and that game came out the same year has the quote Alex mentions. 2016. Tarkov can walk off a cliff.
Saige will enjoy LOTR. I know several women who like it a lot. My mother is a women. And the part of the books with Tom Bombadil and Goldberry is the best part; I can't believe they aren't in the movies and I'll die on that hill.
I'm not gonna lie,... when she talked about her experience at Dropout, my first reaction was "goddamn it... not them too!" and then she said it was a good experience and all was well again.
I've never seen her spend so much time with her mouth just agape,... That, plus Anthony talking about "they only hate women,... and jews,... and people of color by omission,..." Then all the Tesla stuff. She seemed to temporarily not be sure if this was real life.
I've got to say this episode definitely makes it seem like Anthony does not want Saige to watch LotR. If you do end up watching the Saige I agree with Anthony, the original theatrical releases are more than enough. Anthony since you mentioned Tom Bombadil, if I sent a Tom Bombadil magic deck would you try to play with it? If not would you at least accept a Tom Bombadil card. Also did Saige show you the other Doctor Who cards that came out? Finally speaking of the ps1 model vehicle (the cyber truck) one drove by me last week while working on manhole surveys. I was ready to jump out of the way if need be knowing about the sticking accelerator.
I've never watched any of the LOTR movies but I did watch 1 or 2 of the hobbit movies. They were fine, but nothing so amazing that I felt like I needed to watch the LOTR movies.
How many Saige's are we on now? It looked like this one melted. And honestly, I haven't really thought of how few women are in LOTR. I brought it up to a friend and we got to talking that, if they ever did redo the films, would they do what they did in the first Hobbit
I will fight on behalf of the extended edition because otherwise, parts of the story do not make sense. Like they literally do not explain what happens to Saruman, there is just a random comment from Treebeard that is so vague.

What a great production from Anthony "The Lord of the Rings movies are bad" Carboni and Saige "Only a woman on her mom's side" Ryan

I love how Saige melted off the chair 😂 25:30

0:00 perfection
There is a scene in the books where two women gossip about Aragorn
just saying, I always ask, regardless of gender identity, if they want to put their mic on themselves, or if they are comfortable with me doing it.
🙏🏻

Seeing the bad versions of something usually doesn't make me excited to watch the good versions either.
It's wild how poorly made the tessla truck is.

Anthony, you're going about this all wrong. If you want Saige to watch The Lord of the Rings, explain to her how gay it is.
And yet people keep trashing Rings of Power…
Gotta farm those hate likes.
I will never understand hate watching something.
