Catapulting off cover, McWicked rushed to the lead into the stretch and maintained control over Lazarus N lunging late to take the $179,000 Mister Big Allerage Farms Open Pace, sponsored by Muscara Standardbreds, in 1:46.2 on Saturday (Oct. 6) at The Red Mile.
Sent off as the 1-5 favorite, Kissin In The Sand sat a pocket to Youaremycandygirl, intent to cut the mile, and popped the pocket past the pacesetter to take the second of two divisions for the $225,000 Glen Garnsey Memorial, sponsored by Diamond Creek Farms, in 1:47.4 on Saturday (Oct. 6) at The Red Mile.

I've seen barn videos of tis type of race horses, and it seems to me that these horses are happier, healthier, and calmer than the flat track horses. IDK....

Great mile by McWicked but I've never heard of a horse parked out the whole way and gaining at the end like Lazarus did in that kind of mile.

You need to look at the 2018 Freemantle Cup (Australia). This was no ordinary field, it featured the best pacers from Australia and New Zealand. Lazarus was 2nd in this as well.
