1 - Talk about relative numbers instead of absolute (example: percentage of people living in urban area)
2 - Talk about numbers related to quality of life (example: HDI)
@@jyashin but, India just started to develop unlike China whose growth rate doubled after the year 2000 or maybe 1965 or something XD i.e(that is) India just started to develop at a fast speed than China. As you know India was fastest growing economy in 2014-2018, but we are still ahead in growth rate than China's growth rate.

There are more than 100 million farmer workers in China. They spend most of a year living and working in cities, only returned to rural houses during major festivals. These people aren't counted as urban population in statistic.
Same in India also, students and new generations are living in cities but registered in home village

I guess the difference between PERCENTAGE and TOTAL urban ppl is that the latter shows how many supermarkets /shopping malls /fashion stores like H&M, GAP etc can be opened in that area, you know, those global chains care more about TOTAL numbers.

If u r living in cities means u r urbanized, n if living in village then u r ruralized

This should be measured in percentage of the total population and not the actual number of people. So countries like India don't show up.

This is not fair. It all depends on the population size of that country. You should do percentage of urban population for each country.
If a country has 100 people and another country has 10000 people, which country is easier to urbanize the 100 people country. Percentage doesn't give you the clear picture.
