Girl... rather than stick your eye, or finger... use a Natural tooth brush! They are perfect for separating lashes and grooming brows... you can dampen the brush to smooth out lashes after sleep'n too... works great for no time to redo makeup... Or removing clumps! 🪥
Natural tooth brush does it better and grooms brows too, distributes the brown powder and it's washable... Just attached one of those plastic brush caps to keep clean in your makeup bag.... a damp brush straightens out clumps and bent lashes in a few seconds without redo'n it All! 🪥. 👁️👁️

hey guys, you should never curl your lashes after applying mascara, it can cause damage to your lashes. mascara makes your lashes stiffer and doing so can crack your lashes in the process of curling!

They look beautiful the first couple of times, but I ended up with balled eyelids for almost 3 months due to the damage I cause by doing this😫😫 I had to buy Latisse to regrow them....but I will NEVER do that again!!

I use a lash thickening treatment on my lashes and then use brown mascara on them. They come out full and non clumpy, perfect for a lady who is not 20 and obsessed with her lashes
OK, I was gonna perm my lashes but maybe I can just do this. I have been heating up a metal lash comb to press them further into place but the curler would work better for that and be faster.
Erin Parsons lead make-up artist for Maybeline and Gigi Hadid's MUA has a really good video for making your lashes stay curled. It is what she does for all the mascara campaigns. I have been doing it for a couple of weeks now and I love it.

I always warm my lash curler (the part without the rubber) for like 5-10 seconds in my straightener, and then use it like a heat curler for my eyelashes, then use mascara at the end. Works as well as this, but less steps.

So I curl my lashes from tip to base and then apply mascara only to the tips, let it dry fully and apply mascara to the rest of my lashes. It helps them hold a curl and length after a decade of not finding any other trick that worked so well

I either cup my hand & breathe a few heavy breaths, or bust out the blow dryer to heat my curler. I’ve also invested in not one, but TWO different heated curlers over the past year. The method I use to curl my lashes just depends on my level of laziness & if I have my contacts in. (I prefer not to use heat that close to my eye with contacts in. Imagine explaining why my contact is melted to my eyeball!)
I have been applying my mascara and powder using this exact technique for at least 10 years. And I still use my long lashes and bat my weapons a few times when I notice a HOT single man within range! ❤

Yes i have been applying powder to my lashes (before curling) since like 2006 ...... applying TO THE CURLER seems like she is making it more complicated than it should be but yeah i just coat my lashes with powder using a clean spoolie and then curl them with the lash curler, and then finally apply mascara and i have a spare spoolie to use to separate AFTER im done applying mascara! Again its a hack that us older generation learned from a GLAMOUR magazine feature back in the early 2000s😅😊❤
I do the opposite of powder. The powder makes no sense to me that will clump up and dry out or mascara. Put a lil Vaseline or chapstick between ur fingers and massage ur eye lashes, ur mascara will smoothly go on nice and neat. I have natural long eye lashes I love been doing it for yes

Dusting a finer textured powder on your lashes before applying mascara isn’t new, I’ve been doing this for years when I’m out of primer, likely read this tip in a fashion magazine when I was younger - only I never needed to recurl after applying mascara, and wouldn’t do it anyway because it’s not good for the lashes. I usually just put my foundation on and then include the lash area when putting on powder.
Welcome to the 80's honey. We Never wore fake eyelashes because seeing those tarantulas on women's faces in the late 60's and early 70's scarred us for life so this is how we did it

I have them at home and in my bag. It sometimes helps to heat up the tines with a lighter or candle. Just angle it slightly away from our lid.

We used to do that in the 80s! We took a q-tip and put loose face powder on lashes and then used mascara. Works like a charm!

Ive been powdering my eyelashes pre mascara since my highschool days circa 1980.
Powder from wand goes back into the mascara, dries it out. Stopped doing this years ago.
This is an old model trick from the 60’s. My aunt taught it to me.

I use my eyeshadow brush to dust my lashes before I add my mascara. Curl before it all. Quicker.

Did this 10 years ago. The powder ruins your mascara if you double dip, and very quickly.
We did this with talcum powder in the '70s 😊
