I have short stubbornly straight Asian lashes that wont hold a curl (even when i use heat my curler with hairdryer). Ive tried many waterproof brands but my lashes still go limp ☹️

Hi Shonagh, thank you for this video! I appreciate how thorough you are explaining things. This is exactly what I need for my long,e yet straight eyelashes. I've attempted to use falsh lashes before for special events but then I was concerned about hygiene and the glue, etc. Can't wait to try the B.Bell curler you recommended. I think it will be easier for me to handle and enhance my natural lashes. Thanks again!

That’s great to hear! I hope you enjoy using the curler when it arrives. I tilt it backwards slightly when the lashes are in the clamp, just to elevate the curl further. A little extra tip there!

I feel I finally got the process down after your videos. My lashes hold the curl all day now. They are beautifully wispy.😊 Thank you so much!

@@ShonaghScott Yes, I enjoy doing my lashes now. I will be watching your makeup for passport photos because I'll be renewing both my driver's license and passport soon. I just need to find a new foundation for blurring textured skin. I use Milani prime+conceal- but my t-zone is textured and it's been showing my pores lately. I do use loose and finishing powder but it doesn't last. Not sure if you've reviewed this yet, but if you have any tips to blur textured skin, I'm listening. Thanks again! 😊
Your eyelashes look beautiful. I am a mature woman who's lashes are thin and skippy. I found that an eyelash primer is too thick for my lashes. What should I use instead?
Best thing to make eyelashes grow is putting castor oil on them everynight. It really does work and you see results in about a month.❤

Castor oil by itself is pointless. You have to take in enough zinc daily for it to work. You probably do but saying for those who don't
Hi 🙋🏻♀️ I've been applying castor oil to my eyelashes and eyebrows for over 5 years. My brown eyes 👀 are still brown, lol 🤭 To maintain the length and the pigment color of my black lashes & brows (I'm Latina) I apply oil every other day. Loving my results! 💯

What is that appliance you used after the eyelash curler? Never have seen it.

If you use mascara primer, is it easy to remove with eye makeup remover? I'm hesitant because I don't want too much fuss cleaning it all off at night.
I just take mine off with water at the end of the night, and wipe away residue with a microfibre cloth! Really easy ☺️👍🏼

A good tip is to hold the mirror lower down and look downwards when applying it, it’ll help prevent transfer from the mascara wand onto the lid.
Another tip is to purchase a mascara guard. You place it behind your lashes when you apply mascara. Any mess will touch the mascara guard and not your lids.

Great video!!! ❤ I've noticed that when you're applying mascara you're not just moving your hand but also closing your eyes so that your lashes touch the mascara brush ... Am I right? Could you explain this technique?
Absolutely! I’m putting pressure on the lashes by blinking onto the brush as I wiggle it left to right, forcing the lashes through the comb which helps to separate them. I’m not doing it enough that it’s uncomfortable in anyway. Just enough to create that separation and also to coat the lashes 360. Hope that helps!

I personally prefer my eyes without lower mascara as I’ve gotten older. I do it now and again depending on the look I’m going for ☺️

Haha, I promise you’ll be fine! Just go gently with when you pop your lashes in the curler. Don’t pinch down on the lashes straight away, do it slowly and softly to make sure you’re not going to pinch your skin. Then you’ll soon become accustomed to using them ☺️

Are there black primers?
No, they dry almost clear. You can purchase clear mascara if you’re looking for that sort of thing but with these primers the idea is you coat them with a coloured mascara so you won’t see any residue.
Does anyone know of a water proof eyelash primer?
No but top it with a waterproof mascara. Lancome actually do a waterproof version of the Lash Idole, I wore it on my wedding day!
